  • Princeville Gem

"Four of us stayed in this wonderful condo overlooking the pristine Pacific. Beach, kitchen amenities galore and a wonderful window seat from which to watch the waves. Great walking trail about .05 miles from condo, takes you to shops and restaurants. With the windows open, you'll be lulled to sleep by the crashing of the waves. Clean, comfortable and a convenient location from which we could start our hike on the infamous trail in Hanalei."

  • One Of The Best We've Used!

"This condo is one of the best we've rented. It was very well stocked, even having a coffee grinder for those local beans you buy. Bedrooms were nice size, bathrooms have plenty of counter space, and linens are top class. Turtles were seen every day, every hour from our lanai and we even saw a school of porpoise one day. The condo is centrally located for west to Wiamea and east to Lihue. Not one even tiny complaint about this unit. You benefit from a car to see all the sites and visit different beaches as it is a 1/2 mile walk to the closest water play area. We only parked underground once and learned our lesson as it is tight with pillars. Parking above ground and backing in when not many cars works great. Stock up on basics in Lihue before you get here."

  • A wonderful and magical place for escape.

"I would highly recommend that anyone looking to get away to the wonders of Kauai's North Shore take advantage of staying at Hale Huna. My trip was planned last minute but Kristi was generously accommodating in the arrangements. The cottage itself is perfect--tastefully decorated, spacious, well appointed, and calming. I was concerned that it was too remote but my fears were completely ungrounded. There were splendid beaches just minutes away and getting to town was easy. The cottage was peaceful without being isolated. Comfortable without being precious. Clean without being restrictive. And instantly relaxing with no stress in the arrangements. I will certainly look to stay there again. A great experience all around. If you are researching places to stay, and this cottage is available. Stop looking and book. It is exactly what you are looking for. You won't regret it."

  • Kiahuna Plantation on Kauai is a little paradise

"We, a family of two adults (56/51) and two children (16/13) from Germany, stayed for 10 days in the condo of Volker and Gina Bauerle. Already from the booking procedure on and until we left we were supported in a very friendly manner by Volker and Gina. They gave us hints and tipps whenever we needed help (this communication was maybe a little bit empowered by the fact that Volker and Gina derive from Germany - many years ago). Everything in the condo was very clean, working properly and as expected. For four persons there is plenty of space: In the upper floor a big living room with attached kitchen and on the other side towards the plantation a big lanai on which we had our meals. In the ground floor you have another two rooms, individual bathrooms for each room and a terrace. The plantation is very beautiful, green and very nicely cultivated. Mango trees are located in front of the condo. Sometimes mangos drop of the tree and we added them to our menue ;-) Several barbecue grills are located in the plantation and kept ready for operation by the service team. The beach is beautiful and we recommend to make use of the facilities of the Athletic Club. We played a lot of tennis and made use of the fitness studio. You get bath towels at the beach and in the Club. Across the street there is a Shopping Center and an nice Restaurant (Keoki´s Paradise). We were a little bit surprised by the food prices in Hawai´i. You cannot expect supermarket prices like you are used to. But you get very delicious fruits (papayas, avocados, pinapples, mangos...) for fair prices (much better then in the supermarket) on the farmer market in Koloa every Monday from 10.00-12.00 am. We stayed 10 days on Big Island, 10 days on Kauai and another 7 days on O´ahu. Kauai was certainly the most beautiful Island. Of course it depends on what you are looking for. If you are interested in nature, tropical forest, hiking through the rain forest, Kanu trips ... we very strongly recommend to include Kauai into your Hawai´i trip. And you can rely on the help of the owners of this condo, Volker and Gina. They do everything they can for you."
