  • We would come back!

"Our room and the property were clean and as described. The room was nicely decorated and there was a nice view of the beach from the patio. The bed was quite comfortable. We took advantage of the lawn chairs and boogie boards as well as the beach towels provided. The air conditioner was quiet and worked well, although a ceiling fan in the room so we could keep the slider open on warm evenings would be nice. It would also be helpful to have a rack outside to hang beach towels as we saw in other units. The property is close to some shopping and restaurants and we were able to plan activities that were either close by or we could be picked up as we didn't have a rental car. Believe and be ready for the 10:00 checkout time - our housekeeper got there exactly at 10:00. We would stay here again."

  • Nice property

"Plantation Hale is a nice property in a very convenient location. There are two shopping areas with restaurants in walking distance. The beach is also a short walk away. The property has 3 pool areas, two with hot tubs and each building has its own laundry room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to stay in Kauai. We had two problems with the unit: the wifi was not working and we had to call the service provider ourselves to find out why. Molly did take care of the problem when I notified her but we had to make several calls ourselves first. Also, the unit is advertised as a queen sofa bed. It is not. There is a regular sofa in the living room and a blow up air mattress in the closet. I specifically chose this listing because I needed two separate sleeping areas. Having a mattress on the floor in the living room was not ideal."

  • We had a great experience

"The condo was comfort. The view was great as long as you don't look to the right. On the right is a deserted building in bad shape. The beach in front of the condo was pretty but not good for playing in the water. There is no elevator so you have to walk up 3 flights of stairs with your suitcase, beach stuff and groceries. The condo had beach chairs, beach towels, beach umberella, and 2 ice chests. The pool and BBQ area are nice but small pool. The TV in the bedroom is super small, but who watches that much tv in Kauai. The people in the condo complex were very friendly. The complex is very quiet and well maintained."

  • Peaceful, Comfortable Property

"This is a fantastic place to stay. Linda was extremely responsive and helpful. The condo is spotlessly clean, spacious, great bed, well equipped with everything you need (except a kettle for this tea granny; but no big deal!) The air conditioning is great to have, and hard to find on Kauai. We only used it once during our week as the weather was quite cool; it worked perfectly. Lae Nani is a beautiful property in a great location. You can walk for quite a way north along the beach/path in front of other resorts. The surf was very high during our visit and it's not the world's safest area for swimming; however the kids' ocean pool is awesome and created a bit of a breakwater beside it which was nice for a swim/boogie board. We stayed our first week in Poipu and preferred the Kapa'a/Coconut coast area. Very laid back island with super-friendly people and fantastic scenery. Trouble with these great reviews is...this condo is already booked for when we want to go next year! Thank you Linda."
