  • Perfect location, well-equipped unit, awesome view.

"We loved our time in Kauai, staying at Wailua Bay View condos. Everyone always talks about staying South (Poipu) or North (Princeville), but what about East? I really wasn't sure about the location going in, but it was ideal and I wouldn't stay anywhere else! I think staying on the East side is the best kept secret of Kauai! It is conveniently located to head in either direction. We found an awesome, very private beach just minutes from the condo. There are a few restaurants within walking distance which is nice. The condo itself was great. Can't beat the ocean front view. We slept so soundly with the darkening shades! The kitchen comes fully equipped and there are beach essentials too like chairs, umbrella and cooler. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. I have already recommended this condo to friends and family and I wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else were I to return again."

  • Great view for a great price!

"This place was nearly perfect for our 3-night stay. Great location for exploring the island in either direction and what a view! You feel like you are sitting on the beach below the ocean is so close! We loved leaving the sliders open at night so we could fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. The living room sofa was comfy - but for how far away you have to sit from the tv, the tv should be bigger. Not a deal breaker - just sayin'. The kitchen has everything, except a salad spinner (but that is just my opinion as we eat a lot of salads), one would need to create awesome meals. We grilled fresh fish (from The Fish Express - they have killer poke, too) and made huge salads with local produce 2 of the 3 nights we were there and really enjoyed eating out on the lanai. Also, having coffee/breakfast each morning on the lanai was beautiful as well. The shower in the bathroom had good pressure, which is always nice, and there was plenty of counter space for the two of us. The bed was comfortable, too, and although we travel light - there was more than enough closet and drawer space should one need that. I also enjoyed the hand-painted wall in the bedroom and some of the artsy decorations as I am a creative person. I only contacted mgmt once to see what we needed to do prior to our departure, and she was very nice (I think her name was Cindy). We would love to come back as Kauai is our favorite island. Aloha for now..."

  • Perfect paradise

"We spend 15 nights at this condo: clean, spacious, beautiful, quiet and relaxing... everything was perfect. The staff is kind and helpful. The salt water pool sits above the ocean so the views are stunning. The best place to stay on Kauai, we will come back and will recommend this to all of our friends and family !"

  • Stay here!!!

"We just returned from our first vacation in Hawaii. Our first amazing week was spent in this condo and the reviews and pictures won't prepare you for the paradise that awaits. I chose this property after a comprehensive search of the entire island and would absolutely stay here again if I am lucky enough to return. First, the location was perfect! As others have said; Kapaa is a wonderful little place in the middle of the coast, with close proximity to the airport in Lihue, and a short 30-40 minute drive to the south/Poipu or the north/Napali coastline. Next, the condo was such a "retreat" at the day's end; we could go to the pool, walk to the nearby Coconut Marketplace, or enjoy the beach by the property. *Tip- don't miss the great happy hour at the Lava Lava Beach Club- just a short walk away at the Kauai Shores property- cheap drinks and eats from 3-5 with "toes in the sand" seating and live music! The condo was so well equipped with absolutely everything we needed (we had a very different experience in Maui); it was very quiet and peaceful and really felt like a home away from home. Finally, our stay included what felt like our own personal concierge- Cindy in the office was simply a wealth of knowledge about everything Kauai- from ocean safety (there are a lot of rip currents here!) and restaurants to hiking and snorkeling- Cindy knew it all and never seemed annoyed at our endless questions! We spent our second week in Maui-each island has its own personality and benefits and I enjoyed Maui too. For me personally, if given a choice to go anywhere, I would return to this exact place in Kauai- it was beyond perfect. We were a family of four with 2 children, ages 11 and 8."
