  • Great place to stay

"We stayed at the Islander Condo 224 for 4 days. It is just as described. The view from the condo is ideal. We sat on the lanai each morning watching the sunrise. The condo was very clean. Shampoo, soap etc were available. Nice pool with a poolside bar. The bed was was very comfortable, it was nice to have a bathtub to soak in after a long day. The location is ideal. 45 minutes to the north side and 60 min to the canyon. The only thing that would have helped at the condo would be access to the laundry facilities. Because we were renting the Coro privately, we did not have access. Overall, this condo was great value and we would definately stay there again. Thanks Julie for being so responsive."

  • Fantastic Condo in every way!!!!

"My husband and I recently spent 6 fabulous days in this condo. We walked in the door and immediately felt relaxed. The condo is homey and comfortable, with a perfect layout and attention to details. We couldn't get enough of the sound of the surf from the beach below and our nightly view of the gorgeous sunsets. The body board, chairs, and coolers came in handy for lazy days at the beach. We met many friendly neighbors and locals who provided us with a wealth of information about the island. The condo's location gave us easy access to the the entire island. Chuck's outstanding links, blogs and photos helped us decide which activities we wanted to enjoy. He was incredibly responsive through the entire rental process. We would definitely rent with Chuck again and would highly recommend the condo to our family and friends. The Island has so much beauty to offer and we tried to take it all in. I would also highly recommend Captain Andy's rafting trip up the breathtaking Na Pali coast as well as Monicos Taqueria, which is a short walk. Thanks again to Chuck for making our vacation thoroughly memorable!"

  • Good Location

"Our family of 5 stayed here in late July. Having never been to Kauai, Plantation Hale turned out to be a good location. It was centrally located to all the must see's in Kauai. The kitchen had all the items we needed for our meal preparation. There were a few boogie boards, snorkels and beach chair to use. The condo was small for us, with 3 teenagers , but we really only needed a place to sleep. Who wants to be inside all day when your in Kauai? The price and location were perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here."

  • Stay here!!!

"We just returned from our first vacation in Hawaii. Our first amazing week was spent in this condo and the reviews and pictures won't prepare you for the paradise that awaits. I chose this property after a comprehensive search of the entire island and would absolutely stay here again if I am lucky enough to return. First, the location was perfect! As others have said; Kapaa is a wonderful little place in the middle of the coast, with close proximity to the airport in Lihue, and a short 30-40 minute drive to the south/Poipu or the north/Napali coastline. Next, the condo was such a "retreat" at the day's end; we could go to the pool, walk to the nearby Coconut Marketplace, or enjoy the beach by the property. *Tip- don't miss the great happy hour at the Lava Lava Beach Club- just a short walk away at the Kauai Shores property- cheap drinks and eats from 3-5 with "toes in the sand" seating and live music! The condo was so well equipped with absolutely everything we needed (we had a very different experience in Maui); it was very quiet and peaceful and really felt like a home away from home. Finally, our stay included what felt like our own personal concierge- Cindy in the office was simply a wealth of knowledge about everything Kauai- from ocean safety (there are a lot of rip currents here!) and restaurants to hiking and snorkeling- Cindy knew it all and never seemed annoyed at our endless questions! We spent our second week in Maui-each island has its own personality and benefits and I enjoyed Maui too. For me personally, if given a choice to go anywhere, I would return to this exact place in Kauai- it was beyond perfect. We were a family of four with 2 children, ages 11 and 8."
