  • Lovely Condo

"I recently was able to stay at this lovely condo for a MONTH in celebration of my retirement. Shortly before my arrival, I learned that the ongoing roofing project at Lae Nani would not be completed by the time I arrived. As it turned out, the roofing project finished within a week of my arrival and was really a non-issue. The ongoing construction/renovation of the unit directly above me, however, was an issue. This construction continued off and on for two weeks and, on a couple of occasions, I and my guests simply had to leave due to the noise. I believe the Lae Nani management was less than forthcoming with the condo owner with regard to the scope of the construction and continually provided him with erroneous timelines with regard to completion of the construction. With that said, this condo could not be more well equipped. We had everything we needed to prepare meals on site, and the condo is very centrally located to activities on both the north and south shores. There are two farmers markets a week at the nearby Coconut Marketplace, so fresh local produce was plentiful. The condo has an amazing ocean view from the lanai and the lush vegetation on the Lae Nani grounds is a feast for the eyes."

  • Kauai Island home away from home

"The location was close to so many wonderful areas on the Island. Beautifully decorated and just steps to the beach! Well maintained Condo with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We loved the view, kitchen and location. Thank you for keeping plenty of beach towels for use. Penny was awesome in arranging our dates and thank you to the owners for being so gracious with a welcoming gift of Island spice and coffee! Close to the Kapaa a farmer's market. The sound of the oceans so close was magical. A wonderful stay."

  • No A/C, but great central location

"We weren't aware this condo didn't have A/C until we arrived. It was definitely warm during the day, so we couldn't really return to take a nap or relax or we were uncomfortable. It did cool down some during the night, but was still warmer than we would have preferred. My husband & I are warm sleepers, so it was still a little warm for us to be totally comfortable & sleep well. Aside from no A/C, the condo was in a great, central location close to restaurants & easy access to the North & South Shores. The condition of the condo was great & the updates were very nice. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach as well."

  • Great location and wonderful view

"First off the owner was fantastic and was readily available for any questions we may have had, even sent us a fun itinerary with day to day things to do. The condo was in the perfect spot to view the ocean from the patio and the mountains from the bedrooms. There is a rocked off area of the ocean that kids can play in and there are even colorful fish swimming in it from time to time. The road noise was barely heard but was noticed on the weekends, no big deal. The beach is literally in your back yard and the condo has many beach toys and boards for you to use. There is an ABC shop and awesome Italian restaurant a short walk away. The main town of Kapaa is about 4 minutes drive so you are located very close to fun shops and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here again."
