  • Wonderful Waipouli

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great week with our extended family of 10 including 4 grandchildren. All enjoyed many hours in the pool and hot tub. Overall, Waipouli Beach resort is in a great location for easy access to Kauai's many beaches and sites. Our particular unit faced the back of the fitness center which wasn't the greatest view, but that was a very minor drawback. ."

  • Monk seals just out the window.

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was wonderful. We spent 5 nights and loved it. Loved being right across the street from Safeway and Starbucks. The beach is not great die swimming but great for just viewing the ocean. The grounds are very clean and well maintained. The pool area is big and the lazy river is fun. Our family loved it. Easy to find Lounge chairs every day. We also rented bikes from the spa downstairs and that was a fun easy ride to Kealia beach. The fitness center is great as well."

  • 30th Anniversary Vacation

"We stayed in Waipouli Resort A204 celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The condo and grounds were immaculate. The ocean views made our vacation an enjoyable one. We spent many mornings on the Lanai drinking Hawaiian coffee and watching the sunrise. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to stay for anyone. The condo has everything you need to cook meals and save money. We shopped at Costco and cooked breakfast most mornings also the resort has several gas grills we used to cook steaks one night. There is a grocery store and a superb Hawaiian Ice Cream shop right across the street. The condo looks just like the pictures. Fantastic !"

  • Fantastic Unit at Waipouli

"We were very happy with our stay here - we rented Unit H-305 and it was perfect for us. Great communication with owner and housekeeper and the unit was wonderfully appointed and well kept (all new, comfortable and beautiful). If we return to Waipouli, then we will certainly reach out to Vad and book with him (I think he now has 2 units at this location). Reviewing H-305: Large one bedroom (we traveled with teens and they were very comfortable in the new sleeper sofa); kitchen is new and the appliances and amenities are well thought out - everything you need to feel at home. The bathrooms are very large and well appointed. And, everything is well thought out and perfect for traveling families - plenty of towels, beach equipment, soap, shampoo, bathroom tissue, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, storage for clothing and luggage, and washer/dryer in the unit. EVERYTHING is in the unit- this is by far the BEST condo we have ever rented anywhere. Now to review the Waipouli Beach Resort itself: Pro's: other than the Grand Hyatt, this resort has one of the better pool complexes on the island - very nice lazy river, fun slides, good seating and a nice restaurant at the pool (they also have bbq grills for guests to us). Negative's - the traffic is VERY bad - and we are from NYC, so we know what bad traffic is like. It took us, on average about 30 minutes to travel 7-10 miles - crazy. Being in traffic like that takes away from the South Pacific/Away From It All feeling. With that said, there is a large grocery store directly across the street from the entrance to the resort and a few excellent restaurants within a couple of miles, so you can walk to some things if you prefer. In summary, if you plan on staying put at the resort, then Waipouli is an excellent choice for its value and amenities. And, renting H-305 (or Vad's other unit) is THE BEST OPTION."
