  • Amazing view and great location

"My husband and I stayed in Chuck's condo for our honeymoon. The view is just amazing. Exactly the sort of palm trees and beach view you dream about for a Hawaiian vacation. The location is great as well. It's walking distance from some restaurants and centrally located for exploring the rest of the island. The condo itself is very comfortable, with nice furniture and a well provisioned kitchen. I would definitely recommend Chuck's condo to any friends and family planning to visit Kauai. Just one thing to be aware of is that the bathroom has a louvered bi-fold door, so it wasn't quite as private as you'd expect. But we got used to that quickly and had a great vacation."

  • The BEST ever!!!

"From our first inquiry, we experienced great communication with the owners and it was very easy to book our stay. This was a well maintained and spotless condo that exceeded our expectations. We loved the central location and especially the close proximity to two large supermarkets and one health food store. There is also a farmer's market held a couple of times a week in the parking lot of the Coconut Marketplace - just a few miles away. If you want fresh island fruit at a reasonable price, check this out!! The gourmet kitchen, with the Wolf cooktop and sub-z fridge was well appoInted to meet all our needs. It included a variety of herbs, spices, oils, and other condiments that you may just need a tiny bit of. They were all there for our use. So convenient! They even provided enough 100% Kona coffee for our first couple of days. There was a generous variety of pots/pans, bowls/storage containers and utensils. An abundance of dishes and glassware were at our fingertips. This spectacular kitchen is meant to be used! We LOVED it. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Since there were four of us, we appreciated having the bedroom suites on opposite sides of the living/dining/kitchen areas. It provided adequate privacy. The ceiling fans, coupled with the Hawaiian trade winds, meant that we used the air conditioner only once or twice during an 11 day stay. So nice to have a washer and dryer right in the unit. The owners left laundry soap in the unit for our use, which made our stay easier. We kayaked, hiked, snorkeled, went scuba diving, and tubing down the irrigation canals. So much to do on this lovely garden island. Overall, what I appreciated the very most, is that ordinary supplies were already in the condo. We did not have to go out and buy the necessities of dish soap, hand soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, salt, seasonings, etc., etc. we have rented other Hawaiian condos in the past where we had to supply literally EVERYTHING. The owners, Barbie and Don, make it easy to stay. They embody the "aloha spirit." We would definitely return and most definitely recommend this condo highly. J, G, K, R Stayed for 11 days May, 2016"

  • Fabulous stay in Kauai

"We have used VRBO for several vacations over the years. The owner of this condo was so easy to work with and the resort and condo were amazing. It had everything you would need and more. It was very comfortable and had a lot of room for our family. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a resort feel at a price comparable to a stand alone condo without a pool. I knew the resort pool area was popular but didn't expect it to be such a hit with my 10 year old daughter. She could have spent the entire trip in that pool. It was our first trip to the island and it was a busy week with spring break and Easter. I was so thankful to have the location on the island that we did. It is central to everything and had a Safeway nearby to stock our kitchen. I know some people like the Princeville area but there are so many things to see on the north and south shore. We felt lucky to be right in the middle so we could enjoy both shores. We also felt very safe and comfortable in this unit as it was located in the central part of the property. It was also close to the elevator so we didn't have to travel far to drop bags and groceries. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Kauai!!!!"
