  • Absolutlely Gorgeous and just as described!

"We had a group of 6 adults stay over the July 4th weekend. The house was immaculate and just as described in the add. Actually it was more beautiful than any of the pictures give it credit. I cannot say how easy it was to work with Kelly thru the entire process. It was "steps" to the beach! Every thing you need besides food is there for you! Brennecke's beach bar and grill was right next door and very nice. We have already decided this is where we will be going on our next family trip in 2017! Words cannot describe this property, you have to see it for yourself - if your planning a trip to Kauai, this is the place to stay! Thank you Kelly!"

  • Great views and convenient location

"This is a beautiful place - we stayed for six nights (two couples). The kitchen looks very new and modern and all was exceptionally clean (the fridge door looks shocking - old with rust marks - but inside seems fine). You can see the waves rolling in and palm trees from the front lanei. A few minutes walk to the paved path to Lydgate Beach Park and Wailua. We enjoyed the feeling of relative privacy compared with the resorts along the south coast. It was a real bonus to have the washer/dryer and towels. Kauai seemed small to us after a week on the Big Island, so everything was very do-able from this location: we went to the North Shore and Na Pali coast, the South Shore, sea tour from Port Allen, Waimea Canyon... Wailua and Kapa'a are very close: this is great if you want to book a kayak trip up the Wailua River. It's a pleasant walk along the ocean (and footbridge next to road bridge) to Wailua - we went to the Lava Lava Beach Club one evening for cocktails all round and no designated driver!"

  • Anniversary Celebration!

"Hale Kahakai was the perfect place to celebrate our 45th anniversary with family. You walked in and the ocean was right in front of you... our tone for the week was set! The house was stunning and very clean. We made it 'home' very fast. We spent all our time on the lanai, when there. The ability to walk across the road to spend beach time was fantastic! Kekaha was so nice and low keyed. Everything we needed, was a very easy drive. Waimea canyon is just up the road, Polihale beach is an interesting road trip , but worth it! Loved this place, it was all we hoped it would be."

  • Well-stocked, comfortable home.

"The house was clean and well- equipped. The master was spacious and comfortable. The king bed was equipped with super soft sheets. The master bath was modern and super clean. The kitchen had a great blender for smoothies. All appliances well-maintained and in good working order. There was soap and other basic items like dish washer detergent which was nice because we didn't have to go shopping right away. The snorkel gear was adequate but one of the masks leaked a bit. You may want to rent your own. We rented flippers because the flippers there were sized for kids. No air conditioning which was hard to get used to at first but there are fans in every room which helped. No trouble sleeping. Foodland is in the Princeville Shopping Center just down the street. The only difficulty we experienced was trying to find the villa on our arrival. It was dark and rainy and the numbers of the villas are not illuminated and were hard to locate. A mini flashlight helped but we still fumbled around awhile before a kind passer by took pity on us and told us our villa was the second from the last group of villas before the St. Regis. Other than that the location is optimal to restaurants and activities. The views were divine. Only a short walk to two spectacular beaches ( although Hideaways beach was an adventure hiking down to). The management company was wonderful to deal with. We were permitted to stay past the check out time which was great because we had a 10pm flight. Highly recommend."
