  • Exceeded Expectations!

"My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Kauai. We decided to stay at 123 Lae Nani via VRBO as we have stayed in many VRBO properties in the past and have had positive results. Both the island of Kauai and 123 Lae Nani exceeded our expectations. The condo was perfect. The view off the Lanai is breathtaking. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed is very comfortable. The grounds are immaculate. We walked around a lot of other condo and hotel properties and nothing compares to Lae Nani. Another great feature is Lae Nani's location. You are centrally located to all points of the island. We drove to every sector of the island and they are all easily accessible. We truly had a magical vacation! One more plus ... Kristine was very easy to work with. The whole process from start to finish was simple. We plan to come back to Kauai and when we do, we will hope to stay again at 123 Lae Nani."

  • Fantastic Unit at Waipouli

"We were very happy with our stay here - we rented Unit H-305 and it was perfect for us. Great communication with owner and housekeeper and the unit was wonderfully appointed and well kept (all new, comfortable and beautiful). If we return to Waipouli, then we will certainly reach out to Vad and book with him (I think he now has 2 units at this location). Reviewing H-305: Large one bedroom (we traveled with teens and they were very comfortable in the new sleeper sofa); kitchen is new and the appliances and amenities are well thought out - everything you need to feel at home. The bathrooms are very large and well appointed. And, everything is well thought out and perfect for traveling families - plenty of towels, beach equipment, soap, shampoo, bathroom tissue, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, storage for clothing and luggage, and washer/dryer in the unit. EVERYTHING is in the unit- this is by far the BEST condo we have ever rented anywhere. Now to review the Waipouli Beach Resort itself: Pro's: other than the Grand Hyatt, this resort has one of the better pool complexes on the island - very nice lazy river, fun slides, good seating and a nice restaurant at the pool (they also have bbq grills for guests to us). Negative's - the traffic is VERY bad - and we are from NYC, so we know what bad traffic is like. It took us, on average about 30 minutes to travel 7-10 miles - crazy. Being in traffic like that takes away from the South Pacific/Away From It All feeling. With that said, there is a large grocery store directly across the street from the entrance to the resort and a few excellent restaurants within a couple of miles, so you can walk to some things if you prefer. In summary, if you plan on staying put at the resort, then Waipouli is an excellent choice for its value and amenities. And, renting H-305 (or Vad's other unit) is THE BEST OPTION."

  • Perfect vacation getaway

"We arrived to our beautiful home away from home for our 7 night stay at Lae Nani and were blown away . It is excatly what you see in the pictures . It's easy to get into through the private gate . And the room is close enough to the parking area and the pool and beach . We loved eating on the lanai and enjoying the sounds of the ocean . With a beautiful view of the pool also . On our 2nd day there we even saw a seal on the beach directly in front of the property . The condo has all the amenities you could possibly think of . The only thing we had to do was buy our food for the week . It was also nice for our girls to watch Netflix or satellite tv when we had down time . Kapaa is the perfect place to stay it seemed to be not to far from the north shore and the south shore . Our 2 daughters were very sad to leave . It was also easy to be able to get ahold of the owners whenever we had a question . They were very hospitable . I highly recommend this location for couples or families ."

  • Beautiful Pono Kai

"We had a great time while on Kaua'I. I would recommend Pono Kai and I will likely stay there again on our next visit. The premises are clean and well kept and so was the room. It was well equipped with everything we needed from the kitchen to the bathrooms, bedrooms and even things for the beach. The only thing to keep in mind is that the room does not have air conditioner. There is a very nice breeze that comes through the master room and the living room but when it rained, we kept the window closed and turned the fans on high, which the blew around the warm air. When it didn't rain, it was really nice. Othrr then that, we had a wonderful stay."
