  • Amazing Resort

"We just got back from our 7 day stay in F301. I want to give you our pro's and con's of this condo. This is our second time to this resort, but stayed in G103 the first time. All of these condo's have great bones. You cannot beat the amazing kitchen's and huge bathrooms with 2 separate toilets. Here is what F301 has to offer. Pro: Kitchen stocked well with appliances and everything you need to cook whatever. No was no griddle. Blender was great. Under the bathroom sink is a basket full of sun block/shampoo and goodies people left if you forgot something. The view was much better than I was expecting from the other reviews. There was no work being done besides basic gardening when we were there. There were also beach towels, a small cooler and a couple beach chairs. The Con's: If your disabled this is probably not the best room for you. My husband has a bad back and the F building doesn't have an elevator. You have to take the elevator in building E and then walk to F. Not bad at all for most people, but he was in a lot of pain and it didn't work for him. The bed was only ok and so was the couch. The DVR did not work and there was only 1 game to play. We bought and left domino's. I never even found a deck of cards. We spent more time in the condo, because of his pain and it wasn't the greatest accommodations for that. At least he had a nice view to look at."

  • Amazing Kauai Experience

"We stayed in unit G101 at Waipouli Beach Resort the first week of February. The staff at Kauai Calls was awesome! They were very flexible and cooperative from the very start. We didn't arrive until around 9 pm, so it was so convenient that there is no check-in, no keys. They sent me an email with the door code and we drove directly there from the airport and entered the code to get in the unit. The condo was beautiful with two full bedrooms and three full baths, well-stocked kitchen, washer-dryer, and lanai. It was perfect for our family of 5. It's great to be on the first floor. We had easy access to the beach and a great biking/running trail that hugs the east coast for 6 miles. There's a Safeway grocery store right across the street. Kapaa is within walking distance as was our favorite area of the island to go out to eat. Check out Sams Ocean View. The condo also had beach chairs and coolers which we used every day. Overall, we had an amazing experience. I would stay there tomorrow if I could."

  • well stocked kitchen, oceanfront, nice amenities

"The property was clean and there were several amenities to choose from like pool and hot tub, tennis, basketball hoop, nice lawns for kids to play on, and the location walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. This condo would have only been made nicer by having air conditioning, because it is on the first floor you can not leave the windows and screen door open when out for the day, and when you get back in the evening it is very stuffy in the condo. Also, because it is right on the bike/walking path you don't necessarily want to leave the slider open at night. Check in by phone was easy with the manager service. However, we did not like that once in the condo there were instructions to not leave more than 2 loads of laundry at checkout for the house keeper or we would be charged..well, there was a family of 5 in 3 beds and with towels and all I knew we would have more than 2 loads..and we never made it back to the condo before 8:30pm from a day of exploring and the laundry closed at 10 sharp! I called the manager service and was very clear that never would I have booked this condo if at any point before the payment process I was told of this laundry instruction...they were nice about it and then told me it was not mandatory just a suggestion to make it easier for the house keeper, and that we would not be charged. For that I was grateful, but it still was an issue that bothered me when renting a property. Again, the condo was remodeled and had a great kitchen for cooking some late night dinners after a day of exploring. The beds were comfy, but the living room furniture was not- the ends were like a rattan or something, and while they looked nice were very hard."

  • very convenient location, great value, spotless

"We are a couple with a nine year old son who spent a wonderful 5 days at this condo. If you plan to visit various areas of Kauai, the location can't be beat. It is a five minute drive to Lydgate state park (one of the best protected beaches for swimming and snorkeling), five minutes from downtown Kapaa (with lots of restaurants/cafes), and 30 minutes from the south shore and north shore. It's also two blocks from our favorite restaurant on the whole Island - Caffe Coco. And the condo itself is steps away from the beach yet located adjacent to a shopping center with an excellent fish market/take out restaurant open every day and a very impressive local farmer's market twice per week. The swimming pool and hot tub (with bar) were unexpected bonuses. The condo unit was spotless and included very comfortable beds, ample towels, and even beach chairs and boogie boards for guests' use. Exceptional value. Owner was very communicative prior to visit and easy to work with in scheduling. Great stay!"
