  • Very comfortable

"Very convenient having everything you would need at home in this vacation rental. Nice breeze constantly coming off the ocean. Centrally located to Kapaa made walking my preferred method of travel. Very comfortable living quarters. The owners are very easy to contact and get a hold of and have an understanding and personal attitude towards people. My family had to leave early due to a family emergency and they refunded us the remaining days. Highly recommended place to stay."

  • What I consider Heaven to be..

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo could not have been any more beautiful. Exquisite rather! I arrived at night, walked in and was immediately astonished just by the furnishings alone! It is like you are vacationing in livable art. It is 2 levels 3 full baths, each with enormous sunken jacuzzi tubs. The furniture is unlike a typical rental. It is relaxed elegance bringing nature inside with a little more sophistication. Morning comes and I am speechless.. I catch the Sunrise realizing how close we are to the water, you are practically on the water. Directly below the condo you have private gate access to the pristine Hawaiian beach which feels like your own. The beach is stunningly beautiful with gentile water and views as far as the eyes can see. A beautiful pool overlooks the inviting sea. Each room is beautifully decorated, yet still livable. The beds are as comfortable as can be, the master will blow you away with it's views, art, and spiral staircase. It has a washer/dryer, 2nd room (I used it as an office.) The condo is big enough for two couples to stay in and not feel crowded at all. The enormous lanai has two full tables overlooking stunning sunsets and sunrises. There is a formal dining table, a sitting area made from a tree. The table is art and I want it! In the closet downstairs all equipment for recreational activities is provided. You are given two parking spaces, again, unheard of. I have been to the Hawaiian islands many, many, times. I own a condo in Kona, Hawaii, and nothing has ever compared to this place. The fact that there are only 9 units gives you a sense of privacy. Your own private gem. Sadly I no longer want to use my own condo. Waking up the first morning to the glorious sunrise put something in me that shall never leave. Best condo I have ever stayed in on the islands! My husband and I have very high standards. Owning several vacation rentals ourselves, it is very hard to impress us. If you get the opportunity to stay here don't think of looking elsewhere!!"

  • Perfect for our honeymoon

"The property was a wonderful alternative to a hotel. We loved the fact that we felt like we had our own little 1 bed, 1 bath oasis with our own little kitchenette and eating area. Perfect for us and in a great spot on the island. It was easy for us to get to all points north and south during our vacation. We would definitely do this again and the only thing we would have changed was to extend our 6 night stay to at least 8 nights. If you want relaxed, intimate, no fuss, laid back style (which fits the island by the way) this cottage is for you."

  • Peaceful Gardens

"The pictures of this unit with the redwood interior and the gardens grabbed my interest to book at this site and it did not disappoint. This is a private setting with plenty of room for a couple, and could easily expand to one additional person. Sitting on the deck overlooking the garden and the ocean view was a treat each day for my morning coffee. The air conditioner worked well then we were able to use a combination of the tradewinds and the ceiling fan keep us comfortable for the majority of our visit. the internet worked very well also. While on vacation I cook simple meals and salads so the kitchen had all that is required, for those who wanted to cook more and often the convection oven, hotplate and BBQ are available. The gardens provided an interesting place to walk as well as a bountiful fruit basket during our stay. Jai has many interests and has many suggestions if you ask her since she has lived on the island for a longtime and provides many books to supplement your own information and research. Travelling from this unit to other parts of the island was easy and we were able to go in all directions as well as visiting and enjoying Kappa and the local beaches. The bird life (including the infamous Kauai roosters) was part of the charm of this unit. The beach toys, snorkelling gear and chairs were plentiful and easy to access. I hope to return to Kauai and will plan my visit around the availability of this peaceful unit and spend more time enjoying Kauai. Thanks Jai for the lovely stay."
