Recent Anini Beach reviews

  • Anini Beach is beautiful

"Great house just steps from the stunning Anini beach (we even saw sea turtles at the beach across from the house.) While not luxurious, the house is very comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids under 12) often ventured by car to the end of Anini beach where there was less wind and the waves were even calmer but both ends of the beach had something to offer. For food and restaurants we drove to Princeville and Hanelei Bay (kids decided JoJo's Hawaiian ice was the best) which is an easy drive. We also explored the other north shore beaches - best snorkeling at Tunnels and Hideaway - but they are a lot more crowded than this part of Anini. We had some rain everyday which is to be expected on Kauai so don't be disappointed if it's not all blue skies. Overall, a wonderful place for a family vacation."

  • Outstanding home for access to tranquil beach

"If you are looking for reliably calm beach and clear snorkel conditions in July this is your rental home. I agree with all the positive things reviewers before me said but will add a few convenience comments I appreciated about Clover's rental home. I loved having the outdoor hot shower to rinse the sand and salt water off before entering the house. I appreciated having a washer and dryer to freshen our beach towels when necessary. Clover even supplied the detergent as well as all the kitchen necessities. The front porch has a nice line for drying wet suits and towels. It also has an amazing collection of beach toys like boogie boards, masks, fins etc. Clover greeted us warmly then respected our privacy our whole time there. She enables visitors to conveniently recycle and compost while there. She also provides, maps for shopping and getting there, information for farmer's market days and has a great library of Kauai Guide resources. If I ever return to Kauai I will surely stay there again."

  • Very Good

"The view was spectacular. The accommodations were very good and it was nice to have AC. Having all the water "toys" was great. We all got to play with them in the water. The bay is perfect; specially because of the reef and consequently the low and gentle surf. Our only recommendation is that you desperately need a much bigger BBQ and a sort of outdoor kitchen. Trying to grill food for more than ten people was almost impossible. No one wanted to go back to their homes. Very nice accommodations."

  • Already Planning Our Return

"This was our first visit to Kauai. We absolutely love the island. We've talked about it and agree that Chloe and Ken's Puamana escape played a large part in making Kauai feel like paradise to my family. There were five in our party - two adults and three grown children. This condo was perfect for us. As noted, the unit has recently undergone a renovation. It is quite updated, with a beautiful kitchen which was well-stocked. We were able to prepare a number of our meals "at home". We thoroughly enjoyed grilling and eating out on the lanai. Every need was anticipated. The unit was stocked with beach towels and beach gear to borrow. The beds and linens were quite comfortable. Everything about the unit was well thought out. We hope to return to Chloe and Ken's Puamana Paradise again soon!"
