  • Livin' life in the neighborhood

"If you want to feel like a full time north shore Kauai resident then this is the property for you. Beautiful grounds, manicured and lush. Plenty of off street parking. Indoor and outdoor areas for relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere. Outdoor showers are a blessing with a large group, especially if there are childern. Helps you keep the sand out of the house, rinse off the salt water and sand or just take your full shower, nice. The main house is so comfortable. Full kitchen, well stocked with dishes and small appliances. Always a few spices and condiments available also. And everything works great. Nice to have a washer and dryer to keep up with beach towels and and personal items. Living and dining area comfortable for 9 of us. Everyone had a nice room and bed. Nice baths as well. The Tree House was perfect for the grandparents! Our own little get away spot. The fridge was a big help storing extra food and beverages for the group. Both the main house and the Tree House have stairs to the living areas. And the beach is almost at your front door, go across the street and down a path and you are there. Lots of beach and snorkeling equipment in the toy storage area to pick and choose from, including an ice chest and cooler bags, beach chairs, boogie boards, it's all there waiting for you to pick what you need and go. Our second visit to this property and we will be back"

  • Amazing Property

"My family had an incredible stay for 12 nights here. The location is our favorite on Kauai. The home has high-level furniture and other amenities. It's great having AC in case needed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!"

  • Party of 14

"We filled the house with 14 adults for a week in August 2016, and loved the property! The best feature about this house is that it sits right on the beach. The main beach access is via the large lanai off the living room. It's a good beach for sitting: watching the sunrise over Princeville, tanning during the morning hours, enjoying shade and cool breezes in the afternoon, or watching the stars at night. Few beachcombers wander by, so it's easy to enjoy the illusion that this is a private beach, just for your enjoyment. The beach immediately in front of the house is rocky beyond knee-deep, so it's good for splashing around but not for swimming. There's a sandy area about 100 feet up the beach, which is more swim-friendly. When we were visiting, there was little current and some pretty fantastic snorkeling. HOWEVER ocean conditions change constantly - swimming here might be dangerous during your visit. The house was clean and well-maintained. Bath and beach towels were plentiful and of good quality. There were some minor glitches (the dining room slider doesn't slide smoothly; one of the folding doors in front of the washer/drier came off; the dishwasher made a high, squealing noise) nothing that a little patience didn't fix. We were surprised that the basic supplies (toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, etc.) were pretty limited and we had to restock ourselves. The property managers made only two keys available; we ended up getting more keys made, but really it would be much more convenient to have combination locks on all the doors. There was sufficient parking for our entire group. Some of our party found the road intimidating to drive after dark. LAYOUT It's difficult to figure out from the listing and photos how this property is laid out. Hopefully I can clarify. There is the main house facing the beach, and then two suites closer to the road. The bottom floor of the main house comprises a huge living room, a large galley kitchen, a dining room, and a bedroom suite. The living room is the centerpiece of the house. Windows on two sides provide a panoramic view of the ocean. Seating comfortable for nine people, or slightly squeezed for 12. We dragged three chairs in from the lanai and never felt a lack of space. A slider leads to the main lanai (uncovered but shaded by the house in the afternoon), which has stairs to the beach. The kitchen is adequate but not great. We cooked at the house most nights, so we put it through its pac"
