Hale Hina rental in Haena Oct 2 - 9
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Hina. The house was well appointed, clean & light. We were able to easily access the beach and town was a 15 minute drive. Only complaint was the state of the dirt roads that connected the house to the highway as they were very, VERY bumpy due to numerous potholes"

"We love this place, and our dealings with Acacia at Awesome Adventures have been first class. If you're looking for a modern highrise, with a swimming pool bar, and a golf course out back then keep looking. If you want a very cozy home very close to the beach and away from the tourists traps you will like Keiki Leo. Keiki Leo is walking distance to Makua beach, and the beach out front (Kepuhi) is also very good. I will continue to book this gem as long as I can. 10 stars!!!!"

"This became our home away from home for a great week in Kauai. The furnished and modern house made for a great headquarters and place to relax after busy days on the island. This house is close enough to town for convenience, and just far enough down the road to avoid the crowds. We would gladly stay here again on a return visit."

"We are a young couple from New York City who needed a romantic getaway. Our review is based on the house for 2 people.
We booked on VRBO. Alexandra contacted us immediately with instructions and offered any assistance. Julie also contacted us and offered to help with anything we needed.
We came in the middle of the night and after renting a car (Jeep Wrangler 4 door- $75 per day) we stopped at a safeway and cvs which was a few minutes away from airport. Did a full shopping of food, water, liquor etc. The drive to the house was about an hour or so, it was our first time in Kauai so we were driving relatively slow. It was pitch black and we could not see anything, lots of winding roads and bridges that are 1 lane for 2 way traffic. The address does not show up on google maps so it was a little adventure finding the house when its pitch black outside, go to this mile marker, look for fire hydrant and then make right at the bamboo fence. It worked out fine, the instructions winded up being perfect.
We got to the house about 2am. Our initial reaction was, pretty nice house, as advertised. Pictures were accurate. We were exhausted and pretty much passed out immediately.
When we woke up the next morning our opinion went from pretty nice house to wow, this is the PERFECT house. The views are breathtaking, you have complete privacy. The bathroom was very nice, everything was clean. There is an energy that radiates from the house, its calming, peaceful and special.
Driving around in the Jeep with the roof removed was fun and a pleasant change from driving in New york city.
There are barely any radio stations on the island, i would recommend bringing some cd's with you.
We did kayaking- $50 - Very fun
Helicopter Ride with landing at waterfall - $700 for 2 people- Amazing views but not a smooth ride. Skip if you dont have a strong stomach.
The beach here is nothing like miami or carribean, the ocean has personality. The waves are intense. Everyday we went to the beach "Tunnels" (3 min from house), there were "No swimming" signs. Didn't stop us but it was quite an experience.
Overall the house is amazing, Kauai is amazing and we could not have asked for a better trip. We will definitely be back to Kauai and we would definitely book this house again and thats pretty much the best compliment you could ever give."
