Ideal Hanalei Family Beach Cottage

5 of 5
This home was our sixth rental in Hanalei over the last 15 years and we would happily rent it again. It had everything we needed for our family of four with two kids under 10 and location can't be beat. You are both three minute walk to one of the best parts of of Hanalei Bay and at at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. The clean home was stocked with everything we needed to cook and the ample beach gear and boogie boards were greatly appreciated and well used. Only downside was that it was tough to get the kids' room cool at night after some very hot (even for Hawaii) summer days that lacked typical trade winds and rain. But, we improvised with some DIY techniques and it was never a problem. For those looking for luxury accommodations, go to the St Regis in Princeville or pay $1000+ a night in Hanalei. But for those who want an HQ for North Shore adventures, this house will do very well.

Awesome place!

5 of 5
We stayed a week at the cottage and it was a perfect vacation. Everything we needed was there and tons of extras (boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, coolers) to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Sarah communicated with us promptly on our questions and everything at the house was as she said it would be. Great location, short walk to the beach and short walk to town of Hanalei. Great back yard and the outdoor shower is a great touch. We will definitely be back.
