  • Absolutely perfect house on Hanalei Bay

"My husband and I had an absolutely perfect five days at Hale Maluhia. The location is so lovely, right on the bay and mere minutes from the fantastic town of Hanalei. We loved watching the surfers, the professional-level beach volleyball players, and the incredible sunrises and sunsets right from our own backyard. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. The sweet cat Patches was a wonderful companion. The concierge service was excellent (we had groceries waiting for us stocked on arrival, had a SUP board delivered, and had massages at home, all seamlessly arranged by the fantastic Krishna). The AC in the bedroom was a welcome treat. The home is spotlessly maintained, the landscaping is gorgeous, and the outdoor shower is probably the best shower I have ever had in my life. We cooked dinner every night after exploring nearby beaches, hikes, and shopping. Hale Maluhia is designed for complete and total relaxation. We can't wait to come back!"

  • The most idyllic natural setting – an absolute gem in the hidden heart of Kauai's North Shore

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Red Ginger Hale on Kauai’s North Shore. It really is one of the most spectacular settings we have come across on our travels. The property is a stunning oasis buried in the rainforest. The surrounds are endlessly green with a sleepy atmosphere and the unit itself is retreat-like with comfortable furnishings, soft day beds, an expansive dining space and large windows throughout that face the beautiful greenery and nearby mountains. We honestly could have spent all four days just enjoying the serenity of the space. Just a note that the road to Red Ginger is a dirt road, full of potholes. We found it to be a fun and adventurous drive, but it was a challenge in our small economy-sized rental car. A Jeep or 4WD would handle the terrain far better. This really is a dream location and we would return tomorrow if we could!"

  • Fantastic Rental

"We rented this house in Hanalei for our vacation and it was great. Close location to beach. Spacious, comfortable house. A/C in bedrooms was a major plus (very humid the week that we were there). Outdoor showers with hot/cold water. Walking distance to Na Pali Catarmaran Tour. Spacious back deck. Beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella were key. Would absolutely rent again."

  • Far Beyond What We had Expected

"It is not often that you find a place to stay and everything meets your expectations. People always use photos that make a place look better than it really is..NOT the case here! This is the first time we ever rented a house and it was FAR BETTER than what we thought we booked. From the second we walked in the front door and began to explore, we were blown away. Could the house be any better? No way! Could the location be any better? Not unless it was literally on the beach. Tony, your pictures are amazing, but they don't do this house justice to truly show how great it is! The house is stocked with absolutely everything you could need to make your stay comfortable and feel as if you are right at home--except you are in paradise. In the description, where it says it is "perfect for two families", this is more accurate than you can imagine. We had two families and it was almost like having a house for each of us. A separate living room downstairs, huge master suite and bath, plus access to the patio and grassy backyard! The huge, open living area and kitchen upstairs was ideal for hanging out together and the screened lanai that ran the entire width of the house was perfect for enjoying the amazing view during every meal together. The kids even had their own lair, complete with a huge full bathroom just for them and two bunkbeds. Did I mention the great location!? It is no more than 100 yards to the beach, if that. It took us less than 3 minutes to get there every day, and that was with 2 crazy kids and pushing a stroller. Downtown Hanalei (if you can call it that) was only 3 blocks away, a 10 min walk if you walk slow. So many great places to enjoy for every meal. We highly recommend Wishing Well Shave Ice--for both their shave ice and their Acai bowls. The Hanalei Bread Company has great coffee and superb breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Their avocado toast was out of this world! (Hint: they sell pre-made pizza dough for taking back to the house and making your own, which we do every Friday night). If you are in town on a Saturday, don't miss the Hanalei Farmer's Market next to the soccer fields. I could go on and on and on, but I think you get the point. Wish we could have stayed longer, but when we head back, we'll be looking to book this place again. Staying here really helped contribute to making our family's first trip to Kauai truly unforgettable!"
