  • Nice location was marred by being right on busy Anini Beach access road

"Cozy space with AC in bedroom. Pleasant little kitchen, but missing certain items like glasses. We ran out of paper towels, toilet tissue. The place needs sprucing up, though! Lovely lanai needs a table for dining. Surfaces in laundry area & bedroom. Bathroom a bit shabby. A bigger, newer TV on the wall, closer to sofas. Grill needs major cleaning!! The birds were delightful!!"

  • Quaint farm abode

"My husband and I stayed at North Country Farms for our babymoon. The cabin was very cosy and somewhat rustic. It was nice having a kitchenette to make meals in, if you don't feel like going out for dinner. You can also harvest fresh vegetables and fruit on the property! There was a nice big porch, overlooking a large garden. I really enjoyed the outdoor shower too! The hosts were always there when you needed them, but it felt like we were there alone most of time. The three cute cats were our main visitors at the farm as well as the gekos and bugs that made there way into our cabin. The hosts also provide a booklet in the cabin that has some great recommends on where to eat, great beaches, shops, etc. They didn't steer us wrong. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, quite, and rural experience that is still close to incredible beaches, great restaurants, and amazing hiking. If you stay here, you'll definitely need to rent a car to get around."

  • Anini Beach is beautiful

"Great house just steps from the stunning Anini beach (we even saw sea turtles at the beach across from the house.) While not luxurious, the house is very comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids under 12) often ventured by car to the end of Anini beach where there was less wind and the waves were even calmer but both ends of the beach had something to offer. For food and restaurants we drove to Princeville and Hanelei Bay (kids decided JoJo's Hawaiian ice was the best) which is an easy drive. We also explored the other north shore beaches - best snorkeling at Tunnels and Hideaway - but they are a lot more crowded than this part of Anini. We had some rain everyday which is to be expected on Kauai so don't be disappointed if it's not all blue skies. Overall, a wonderful place for a family vacation."

  • Great location right across from the beach. House was just as described, spacious and well equipped.

"Really enjoyed the house on Kauai. There were seven of us and we had plenty of space. It was clean and had everything we needed, including snorkel equipment and boogie boards. It is in a great location right across from the beach. While we were meeting people and participating in activities, we kept asking where the best beach is to snorkel and every one of the locals (without fail) we asked said Anini Beach. We saw turtles, many different kinds of reef fish and eels. Would definitely recommend."
