  • The perfect place to stay on the North Shore!

"The cottage is the perfect place to stay on the North Shore! It doesn't really matter that you aren't right next to the beach because there are many beaches less than a 20 minute drive away. You are also very central being located less than 20 minutes away from hanalei and princeville. There's a great outside shower and a claw bath that is perfect for relaxing in. There is also a washer and dryer, so make sure you don't overpack. The BBQ is wonderful for making dinners and there is a full size fridge and a place for you to cook meals. The kitchen comes stocked with plates, silverware, and anything you need to make your meal. There are many animals located on the property including a super sweet goat named Milk which you can feed most of your food scraps. There are also cats, dogs, chickens, and roosters (make sure you bring ear plugs because the roosters have no sense of time and will sound off around 3am.) Also if you get mosquito bites easily make sure to bring spray. It's wonderful being able to wake up in the Forrest in such a beautiful setting every morning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage and look forward to returning!"

  • Comfy with great customer service

"Quiet and private, great location (if you have a car). The amenities are good too; the fans in every room, the kitchen is pretty well stocked, tons of towels and beach towels, and the beds are really comfy. However my five star rating comes from how kind Mercy was when my daughter became very ill with food poisoning, she let us stay in the cottage at no extra charge to recuperate as long as possible before our flight home. Top rate customer service, which means so much when you're in a stressful situation away from home. Mahalo for your generosity!! Hope to visit again."

  • Truly, it was a Wonderful Life from Christmas to New Years at this delightful home on Annini Beach!

"My wife and I, and our daughter, son and daughter-in-law enjoyed every day at this very comfortable and well appointed home. We had some rain, lots of sunshine, fairly warm water and pleasant breezes. We especially enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking (rented kayaks at Pedal and Paddle in Hanalei) from the beach in front of the house. There is more to do nearby than we could do in several weeks and it was delightful to just sit on the beach or the front porch. Thanks Jo, we'll be back! Peter B."

  • Incredible house

"Stayed for 6 nights with 2 adults and 3 kids. Probably the nicest holiday house I have ever stayed in. Everything we needed was there and was very comfortable and clean and everything worked. Location is amazing with the beach just across the road. Snorkelled with turtles every day! Kauai is just beautiful and the north side is just gorgeous. Would absolutely stay again."
