  • Paradise on Earth or As Close As You Can Get

"This was our third stay at Jungle Bee, a truly unique experience on the island of Kauai. Lush tropical surroundings, beautifully maintained and cared for along with stunning ocean and mountain vistas truly make this home a paradise. Coffee and yoga on the deck each morning was an amazing experience. Secret beach, a 10 min walk, is gorgeous but big waves so not a lot of ocean time for little ones. There are plenty of other beaches within a 10 min drive for small ones. All of the beaches on the north shore are amazing and unique in their own way so you will want to spend time exploring. Any needs we had were taken care of quickly by Jimmy. You can tell that the owners really care that people enjoy their home and have a great experience. A great quiet place for a family vacation where the kids can spend lots of time outside (with bug spray) exploring, chasing lizards and frogs, and enjoying the wild chickens and their babies. Roosters not so enjoyable, bring your earplugs, but this is true EVERYWHERE on Kauai. Thanks again for another lovely stay."

  • Great place to stay

"We stayed at this cottage to start our trip and wished we had stayed here the whole time. The cottage was amazing tucked away and had everything you could need. We loved watching the animals and enjoying the piece and quiet. Susan was a great host! We would love to come back."

  • A little piece of paradise!

"My husband and I stayed for 10 nights at the Hubbard's in May 2016. We had the most wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. We didn't spend much time at the cottage during the day because we were always out exploring but our mornings and evenings spent on the lanai were some of our trip highlights. The mountain views are beautiful and half of the mornings we were there we woke up to rainbows (often multiples). The pictures just do not due the landscape justice. I miss my morning coffee on the lanai more than anything! In the evenings we looked forward to visits from Bruce and Susan's cat Rory who very quickly became my husband's buddy! Mahalo Bruce and Susan for being fantastic hosts and providing much appreciated recommendations during our stay. We very much look forward to visiting their cottage again next time we visit Kauai hopefully in 2 or 3 years -- I wouldn't stay anywhere else :)"

  • Great location, very clean

"I really liked this place! It was very clean and was well cared for. Pros: Close to the beach, right across from the path to a quiet beach area on Anini Beach. The yard was great. It had a very well stocked kitchen The Management was very easy to work with. The lay out and amenities were as stated. Cons: The hot water ran out too quickly, it was hard to all take a shower after the beach and get hot water. A/C would be nice since we were instructed to keep doors and windows locked at night and when we where out and because there are many roosters running around that will wake you up in the morning."
