  • Paradise found in this Little Cottage

"We love Kauai. We keep coming back as often as we can. Without a doubt this is the perfect place found in paradise. Very Clean, bright, and with great big views. The sound of the ocean with wonderful trade winds came all day and night long. Walking to the cottage was in itself a magical experience. Lined with lush green tropical plants was just beautiful"

  • ALittle Bit Of Heaven on Earth!

"WOW! What a Great Location! So private and the views are amazing. Its like no other place I have ever stayed. How can anyone give a bad review I'll never understand. This is a house of many generations and we enjoyed being apart of the Old Hawaiian culture. I'ts not fancy but everything you need and more. i did'nt come here for the glam. I came to unwind and relax from the everyday grind and have a adventure as well. This place gave us peace and and a spiritual experience. When we went out for the afternoon to explore we could'nt wait to get back to B.B.Q under the gazebo. It's so awesome at night with bright stars and the sound of the surf.I felt it was a easy process to rent as well as any help we needed with directions. I would recommend this place for a family vacation or a romantic couple getaway. We will be back!"

  • Paradise lulls you to sleep.

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was absolutely perfect. You do need to be able to climb stairs. But the view was the best I've had in Hawaii. We could watch the whales breech from the lanai with our binoculars. All our needs were met in a beautifully kept unit. What a great opportunity. My husband and I loved it."

  • Wonderful, secluded location within walking distance to a fantastic beach

"Before i get to the property, there is something you need to be aware of with Kauai in general. There are hens and roosters, wild, everywhere. And as one book described them, they are schizophrenic... in that, they crow at all hours of the day. The Good: The property itself is a very nice house. Everything we wanted was in there. If we were to be overly picky, it would be nice to have more towels, as they take some time to dry in the natural air. There is a washer and dryer in the house, but I felt a little guilty doing washing each day to have towels for the night. The valley that Pama Hale is located in is very beautiful, tropical, and quiet. So, when you sit out on the deck and the sky is clear, the star gazing is phenomenal as you stare into pitch black sky and listen to the waves crash on the shore nearby. There is fruit on the property too, but we went in January, so there was limited selection. It was still cool wandering the back part of the river looking into the trees for what could be picked. There's an outdoor tub, and a shower if you like that sort of thing too. The beach is an easy walk down the road. It's a beautiful cove called Maloaa Bay, but it is also dangerous in winter months. Take shelter to the far left or far right of the beach where there is protection from the reefs. DO NOT swim in the middle where it's open to the ocean. The neighbor, Christale is wonderful. Super friendly; checked in when we arrived, and when we left, and was a pleasure to talk with. Kitchen is great, we used it a lot (the oven part was broken, but tbh i wasn't planning on baking much while I was there), along with the gas bbq on the deck...which looks as if it has one season left in it. Another thing to be aware of: you're in a "jungle." So there are frogs and Gecko's around... and the Gecko's can get in the house. This is true of all houses in the area. So, don't freak out, they just eat the flies and are pretty chilled. Saw ~3 inside in a week The Bad: Not much really; however, be aware that about 30% of the windows are merely screens that can't be blocked. So, when the wind really picked up for the last 24 hours it was super loud. Also, the trees constantly tripped the motion sense lights outside during the wind, so it felt like you were sleeping under a lighthouse all night. Not the most restful, and probably only a concern in storm season. Overall, a great stay. It was just my wife and I and our 3 yo daughter. Recommend"
