  • Clean, everything you need

"1525 was priced right, had a functional little kitchen (with a full sized fridge), and allowed access to all that Princeville has to offer. Sure, the 1000 building is the kind of motel of HBR, but who wants to spend all your time in the room in Kauai?! Internet worked, TV was large and functional, and there was all kinds of cookware available. They've re-opened the pool and the Lana'i bar, which is a plus since the last time I was at HBR."

  • Incredible location, fantastic resort & condo

"This condo at Hanalei Bay Resort was the perfect home base for exploring Kauai. The host is very responsive and ensured I had all the details I needed for my stay. From the moment I pulled up to the valet to check-in through until my check-out, the resort staff was welcoming and helpful. The condo, located on the top floor, has a gorgeous view of the pool and lounge area from the patio. The efficiency kitchen had all amenities needed. The bed was comfortable with the softest sheets ever. The condo is quiet. I enjoyed coffee on the patio each morning, before following a short trail down to a hidden beach (how cool is that?). The pool, lounge, and hot tubs are well-maintained. There are lots of walking trails from the resort around Princeville. The resort restaurant has one of the most incredible views around, with friendly staff and a decent menu. Though I didn't take advantage of them, there are lots of activities available at the resort - yoga, fitness, etc. The Princeville "center" has a grocery store, gas station, and shops and restaurants - and is only a 3-4minute drive from the condo. I couldn't have imagined a better place to stay in order to enjoy Kauai. It's a 10-minute drive from the condo to Hanalei town (lots of great food, small shops, water sport lessons/rentals, etc.). Easy drive to snorkeling beaches along the North Shore and headed back to the east side. It's even an easy day trip to Wailea Canyon State Park (the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific"). But truth be told, the lush north shore is the best place to stay. :) Highly recommend this condo and the Hanalei Bay Resort for anyone who wants a relaxing, all-amenities-included place to stay while enjoying exploring Kauai."

  • Gorgeous view, great location within the resort, and wonderful resort amenities

"We loved our stay at this fantastic little condo! The lanai was a perfect place for our morning coffee, and the condo itself is very well situated on the resort (near the pool and happy talk lounge, easy walk to the beach access, did we mention the view???) The in unit w/d was a plus (we got pretty muddy on our Na Pali coast hike). The only negatives were that it was difficult at times to find parking in the lot, but the hotel staff was very accommodating with allowing guests to park in the valet lot (which is really not that much further away). Also, be advised we couldn't find any dresser space, so if you aren't ok with living out of your suitcase, this could be a problem--- we were ok using the suitcase racks and table. This condo affords lots of privacy and was a great fit for our first trip to Kauai."
