  • Hanalei Bay Villas #33 - two weeks in paradise

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the lanai on this property. The unit is built on poles on the side of a hill, and the jungle is in front of the unit. The birdsong coming from the jungle was a great source of conversation - trying to match the songs with the many birds who visited us on the lanai. The roosters we could easily recognize! I probably took more than 500 photos (we stayed for two weeks) of the beautiful green mountains across the valley. Across the street is a small grassy area, no buildings, so nothing to stop the breezes coming off the ocean. Lots of opportunities for taking photos of the sunsets too. I was surprised at how quiet the bedrooms were. The master bedroom windows are not all covered, so the sunlight streaming in just after dawn was a bit intense, but both beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and linens. We had a problem with the dishwasher, but Bali Hai had someone come out to fix it in less than an hour. He gave us his phone number in case there were any other problems. Great customer service from Bali Hai, and Lisa in particular. We will definitely use Bali Hai again."

  • Fabulous in every way!

"We recently returned home after an amazing stay at the Hanalei Bay Villas. The unit was immaculate and well maintained, the kitchen was well equipped, and the view was fabulous. We enjoyed walking to Hideaways Beach, Queen's Bath, and to a nice snorkeling beach down below the Regis Hotel, where we also had a delightful lunch at their beachside restaurant. The location of the unit was just a short drive to the town of Hanalei Bay, where we enjoyed some delicious meals, to Tunnel's Beach, where we did some great snorkeling, to Kilauea Lighthouse where we viewed magnificent birds, and to lovely shops in Princeville marketplace. All in all we had a wonderful week, and will look forward to returning to such a perfect spot as soon as we can. The detailed information we received from the owner and from VRBO prior to our trip was all very helpful, and the customer service was as good as it gets."

  • Amazing condo - the best we have ever stayed at!

"Wow is pretty much all I can say. When we walked into the condo the first time we were really speechless at just how nice everything was. The condo was just beautiful. Everything in it done well - they did not decorate or furnish this condo on the cheap for renters - it really felt like they owners were sharing their very well cared for vacation home with us. The area was just so beautiful and we WILL BE BACK. LOVED LOVED LOVED this rental."

  • Wow!

"The view...wow. I could not stop staring at that gorgeous view from the lanai. My husband and I stayed at Beverly's Hanalei Bay Villa for 3 days in June. As soon as we arrived, we realized that we should have stayed the whole week instead of splitting our time in the south of Kauai. The property is absolutely lovely - by far our favorite accommodation throughout our whole trip. The villa has everything you need for a great stay in Kauai, including a full kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, beach gear, laundry facilities, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy. I was doubtful about the lack of AC, but quickly found our that it's not necessary with the cool breezes. The St. Regis is literally next door. We walked to the most fabulous dinner we had in Hawaii at the Kauai Grill (get the scallops for an appetizer!) The shopping center at the entrance of Princeville has a grocery store, shave ice stand, and Lapperts, which we took advantage of several times, and Hanalei Bay is easy to get to. Stay here and enjoy- you won't regret it!"
