  • A one word description ....AWESOME !

"We just returned for a 10 day stay. This was our first trip to the North Shore of Kauai and we loved every bit of it. Everything was perfect for our group of 3 adults & 3 kids. Plenty of beach & snorkel gear to go around. Fully equipped kitchen, lots of towels, well maitained and clean. Bike rides through the area is a must. The views from atop the resort are stunning. We did frequent visits to Hanalei which is a 5-10 min drive away. So many shops and local places to eat here. Annini Beach is a 10 min drive south, well worth seeing with a very nice, soft, sandy beach. We scored some fresh Ahi from a fisherman across the street here. The Beach out front of St Regis was great with lots of reefs to snorkel around. And though not a guest of the resort, you can get an outside table for a drink & lunch. Not a bad walk, but If you drive , Parking here is very limited, we valet parked (Free, but tip the attendant) at the St Regis and hauled our chairs and beach gear down the trail - entrance just left of the entrance booth. Be prepared for a stair climb down, and back up. Worth every step. Cannot say enough about this house and the Princeville area. The only thing that would prevent us from booking this again would if we did not have enough people to utilize the space."

  • Jeff and Laurel's Stay

"We loved staying at the home. The home was extremely clean. They even left us beautiful leis on the kitchen counter. We were on Kaui to attend our youngest son's wedding. With all the cooking we needed to do the spacious kitchen was wonderfull. I don't think I have seen such a well stocked and beautiful kitchen. It even had a Kitchen Aid stand mixer!! The views were wonderful, we would wake up in the morning open the blinds and lay in bed and enjoy the beauty of the mountains and rainbows. In the evening we would sit on the lanai and enjoy the view of Hanale Bay, if was wonerful. The home was spacious and well appointed.. The highlights of our trip were of course the beautiful wedding which took place at Kalihiwai beach, the boat ride out of Hanalei bay to the Napali coast was awsome and the helicopter ride ou t of Princeville was unbeliveable. Hope to stay again next year. Aloha, Laurel"

  • Holiday in Princeville

"This is a lovely home with great amenities. We celebrated Christmas in the home and everyone enjoyed the pool table and jacuzzi. The open kitchen and adjacent dining room and seating area were wonderful for family dinners. Although not on the beach, we were able to easily get to many wonderful destinations around the island. The home is conveniently located near a public golf course and there are numerous running paths for a great morning workout."

  • Perfect Family Vacation in Paradise

"We had been saving our money for a family vacation for several years. The decision regarding the location was critical for our 7-person family of three daughters, two son-in-laws, my wife and I. As I reviewed the VRBO advertisements for rental homes, the Hale Mana caught my eye, and I eventually made the decision to book the property. Words cannot fully describe this beautiful home and property. The owners, Neil and Barbara, gladly share their amazing home for others to immerse themselves in the diverse Hawaiian ecology. The home is situated on a secluded 3-acre lot overlooking the Kilauea Stream and the Kilauea waterfalls. It was fun to wake up to magnificent sunrises and an occasional rainbow. Rare or endangered birds flew by the home as they went up and down the stream drainage. Inside, the home was well furnished and comfortable. The home is configured to see outside in nearly every direction through large windows which take advantage of some amazing vistas. The space inside the home was plenty and never an issue. The location was perfect for our needs. Beaches, hiking, snorkeling, were within reasonable distances. I would highly recommend this home for a group looking for a restful and relaxing Hawaiian vacation. We hope to return to Hale Mana in the near future."
