  • Great place to stayin Kauai!

"Our recent visit to Kauai was made very comfortable by this well appointed house. The amenity details appear in other reviews, so it is not necesarry to reiterate. The location in Princeville is great. The area is quiet and pristine. The house is clean and comfortable. There are constant updates via email of island happenings and ocean conditions to keep you safe. We can only say good things about this experience And highly reccomend this location."

  • Escape from winter

"A pretty and comfortable condo, well equipped to meet all our needs, and ideally located on the Northside of Kauai. Morning coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds, was a fantastic experience. We could walk to the beach and used it as a base for exploring the island. Some great restaurants nearby included the Bistro in Kilauea (ten minutes to the east) and the Dolphin in Hanalei (10 minutes west) but the freshest fish was to be found at the KIlauea Fish Market. Monico's Taqueria (on the way from the airport) gets an honorable mention."

  • Great location. Great view. Plenty of room.

"We stayed at Hale Makana with another family (total of 10 people) for 10 nights. The location is great. It is only about 5 minutes from the grocery store, gas, and a few restaurants--all in the same parking lot--in Princeville. It's also only about 10 minutes from Hanalei, which has plenty of restaurants, shops, churches, and activities (including kayaking, hiking, and the beach at Hanalei Bay). The view from the backyard is amazing--Mt. Makana, Queen's Bath, the endless Pacific Ocean, and sunsets. The trail to Queen's Bath is also very close (just a short walk) to this house. The house also had plenty of room for our group of 10 to hang out, visit, play games, and eat meals together."
