  • A little paradise!

"My husband, my 2 Young adults (18 and 22) and myself spent 6 days in this beautiful condominium. We had a wonderful vacation and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect. Princeville is a beautiful town on the North shore of the island, about a one hour drive from the airport. The condominium is spacious, clean, well equipped and has a stunning view of the ocean and the mountains. The owners are very accomodating. The condo has a very nice beach down below to do snorkling. There are a lot of activities to do around (tennis, golf, beaches, hicking, snorkling, surf lessons, paddleboard, etc.) There are also many restaurants around if you don't want to cook but it is also very nice to stay at the condo and enjoy a nice supper with the view on the terrasse. If you want a trouble-free vacation, I strongly recommend this condo. It was our second time on the island (first time was with a cruise) and we really preferred the North shore from the South shore since there is much more to see and do. We just hope we can return again in a near future!"

  • Best place we ever rented

"This outstanding property looked like it had been professionally furnished. It was exquisite. The kitchen was a chef's dream come true, the chairs and sofas were of the highest quality, the wall hangings were wonderfully thought out, and to top it off, the MB mattress was heaven. The Puu Poa property is the very last property in Princeville before you get to the end-of-the-road, (and best view in Princeville) St. Regis hotel. As far as we could tell, there was not a better location for a condo inside of Princeville. In fact, we were watching tv one night, looking at local real estate listings. This condo had a neighbor selling theirs in the 1.35 million range. At that price, the weekly rental was a bargain. Behind the property is a very fun and challenging climb to one of the nicest beaches we've ever visited. It's very small and remote, so it felt like we had it to ourselves and a few others. Wear your backup shoes and clothes down the hill. That red mud is nearly impossible to wash off. The unit had very cleverly placed shudders, so we could enjoy cool breezes and hear waves crashing without sun shining in the BR in the morning. Paul has quite the AV setup if you get rained out, or desire nighttime TV. We continued our House of Cards marathon at nights during our stay, utilizing Paul's Netflix account. It appeared that he had other providers (Amazon?) as well. I can't say enough about this unit and Paul's hospitality as well. Paul as well as his unit #304 at Puu Poa made for an absolutely enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this property!"

  • Wonderful accommodation in Princeville...just be prepared for the humidity!

"We arrived at Puu Poa 309 on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. We watched the sunset from the amazing lanai, saw the milky way and went to bed blissful. That was our last sunset of the visit, as the rain and clouds were ever-present. The great part about that was the amazing rainbows we saw every morning. And literally the ONLY thing I would say that was a negative about this lovely condo was the humidity. It was cool overnight (around 72 degrees), but most nights the humidity was 93 percent due to the rain. We had all the fans on high and windows open wide, but it was a bit challenging for sleeping comfortably. That said, Tarek's condo was perfect in every way: Comfortable, upscale furnishings, bedding and towels. Well-appointed kitchen. Lots of beach equipment (if you get lucky enough to have some sunny days). Unbeatable view from the lanai with lots of seating. Small but adequate grill for grilling up some local fish. Perfect location for exploring the north shore. We loved the master shower, the comfy beds and the views from every room. The condo complex was also well maintained and extremely quiet, a must since the windows & sliding doors need to stay open at all times. Tarek was also very helpful and responsive by email. I would definitely contact him again if we return to Kauai. Aloha!"

  • Beautiful Place in Princeville!

"My family and I spent a wonderful 11 days in this beautifully appointed condo at Puu Poa. #302 has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic visit in Kauai - no need to buy all the extras for going to the beach - everything is here for you to use, snorkel equipment, straw mats, beach towels, cooler, umbrellas, noodles! : ) The furnishings in this home are out of this world, a kitchen that is well equipped and the whole place just says "Welcome"! Lots of space here. Sitting directly above Hideaway Beach and next door to the St. Regis Hotel, you will spend your time out on the lanai overlooking the ocean (day AND night) and are just a short drive away from the gorgeous north shore beaches and lovely Hanalei. I highly recommend a drink at the St. Regis bar at sunset! This was my first trip to Kauai and it did not disappoint. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home for a vacation we'll never forget!"
