  • Beautifully decorated. So comfortable and great views. Highly recommend it.

"We loved it. Looked just like a beach cottage. Great views and no one above or beside you. Really cooled down at night. Ceiling fans and breezes from every direction. Golf course, grocery store and snorkeling just five minutes away. We swam with sea turtles. Everything you need is provided. Next time we will take less because washer and dryer were great. Private, quiet, saw whales and had cardinals visit every day we went out on lanai. Would recommend to anyone who wants a stress free vacation."

  • Great view and affordable stay!

"Overall, this place is as advertised--great view, affordable, great location. However, some of the comments on the "awkward lack of privacy" are somewhat valid. It's not as bad as some may have asserted--if a 10 was "a normal hotel room" and 0 was like "having to shower outside", it's probably around a 6. But overall, it's a good "bang for buck" place if you're just using it for sleep/launch pad for daily activities. Ron was very responsive with emailing, and provided great direction on usage of the place!"

  • Amazing views, great location.

"Firstly, Linda was great. We weren't exactly the most communicative guests, but she checked in on us several times before the trip to make sure we had all the information and tips for Kauai that we needed, and then she checked in again on our arrival day to make sure that everything in the property was good to go (it was). The condo has all the basic amenities you'd want (cable, wifi, kitchen with plenty of dishes to use for eating in, beach equipment, etc.). Everything was clean and ready to go. The view from the condo is incredible. First pic here is through the living room window, second just outside the window. https://i.imgur.com/oaEKj6g.jpg https://i.imgur.com/6sg8ZLj.jpg You can basically see the ocean, Anini Beach (I think), and the surf hitting the reef from any window, and the trade winds blowing in were great for sitting by the window and relaxing. We also got some visitors (geese, chickens, anoles) that were pretty fun to watch moving around outside. The condo is also a quick drive from Princeville's shopping center and Hanalei Town/Bay, all of which make for great eating or relaxing and swimming (Pink's Ice Cream is amazing). We also did a bit of driving around to go to Waimea Canyon, the Kalalau Trail (to Hanakapi'ai falls-- we're not impressive enough for the full trail!), Kapa'a, Kalihiwai Beach, and Eleele for a Na Pali sailing cruise, and it never felt too inconvenient going from Princeville to those places. It's a bit of a drive out to the south shore if you're going multiple days in a row, but not too bad, and the views on the drive are still great. The only negative, which wasn't really much of a problem, is that sometimes folks walk in front of the condo, and with the windows open for a breeze (a must IMO), it feels a little lacking in privacy. There are big curtains that can be drawn with the windows open, though they blow around a lot if they're not tucked aside. We decided pretty quickly that it was much better to have the views than worry about passersby, and it was still a pretty rare occurrence anyway. So overall, a great rental, great owner, incredible views. Highly recommended."

  • Beautiful view

"We recently stayed at the condo and was very happy with our choice. The condo unit has a beautiful view of the ocean and is just big enough for the 2 of us. It was very quiet which is something we needed after a long trip to NZ & AU. We had a minor problem with the washer & dryer but Jim responded quickly and resolved the issue. We would definitely stay again should we come back to Kauai."
