  • Spectacular View -- The Best!

"We loved the North Shore and our home base for five nights before heading to the East Side of Kauai. We did the Kalalau Trail (two miles in and two miles out) the day after we arrived. The path is difficult (rocky and muddy) but so worth it for the views. Definitely bring walking sticks. We went to all the secluded beaches (the most beautiful beaches ever), and the hikes again are muddy and some places steep. The easier beaches to get to are Tunnels, Anini and Hanalei Bay. The secluded ones are a 15 to 20 minute hike. Those beaches are Hideaway Beach (snorkeling great there), Queen’s Bath, and Secret Beach. The small village of Hanalei has cute shops, market, and great restaurants (Bar Acuda was one we really enjoyed). Be sure to check out the Lighthouse and Limahuli Garden & Preserve. So much to do on the North Shore. We were happy we rented Linda’s condo to explore the area before we went East on the Island. Thanks Linda, for your quick response time and all the information. Love Kauai!! FYI, be sure to check out the South Beaches (they are just as spectacular), Waimea Canyon, Koke’e State Park, Wailua Falls, Lydgate Beaches/Park while on the Island. We spent a total of 12 days, and hated to leave. Lots more to explore! It made it convenient staying on the East Side to explore and hike the South Shore and canyon."

  • Princeville Gem

"Four of us stayed in this wonderful condo overlooking the pristine Pacific. Beach, kitchen amenities galore and a wonderful window seat from which to watch the waves. Great walking trail about .05 miles from condo, takes you to shops and restaurants. With the windows open, you'll be lulled to sleep by the crashing of the waves. Clean, comfortable and a convenient location from which we could start our hike on the infamous trail in Hanalei."

  • Awesome Location with Great Views

"We loved this place. First it was in a great location in Princeville with Queen's Bath, Hideaway Beach, and Sea Lodge Beach all within jogging or walking distance (about 2 miles). A quick walk to the front of Sea Lodge will provide excellent sunset views. Hanalei Bay, Tunnels Beach, and the Kalalau Trail are all a quick drive away. The views from the lanai were awesome as you can see both the ocean and mountains. Getting to the southern and western parts of Kauai was a bit of a drive, but frankly the North Shore is far more beautiful and has better beaches and snorkeling. The owner was excellent with communication and we were very pleased with how clean the condo was when we arrived. B-12 was stocked with everything we needed including washer/dryer, snorkeling gear, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, utensils, oven, and fans. We would definitely stay here again and can't believe anyone would stay at a resort."
