  • Perfect for us

"We had 5 adults staying here. Set up was everything we were looking for. This is a lovely house. Great Kitchen and Deck. Very comfortable. There was trouble with the refrigerator but a replacement was already in the house and ready when we arrived. Great snorkeling at hide a way. We saw lots of turtles this trip. It is not beach front nor an ocean view but it is a lot closer then Colorado! Again the set up was great for our family."

  • Amazing views, great location.

"Firstly, Linda was great. We weren't exactly the most communicative guests, but she checked in on us several times before the trip to make sure we had all the information and tips for Kauai that we needed, and then she checked in again on our arrival day to make sure that everything in the property was good to go (it was). The condo has all the basic amenities you'd want (cable, wifi, kitchen with plenty of dishes to use for eating in, beach equipment, etc.). Everything was clean and ready to go. The view from the condo is incredible. First pic here is through the living room window, second just outside the window. https://i.imgur.com/oaEKj6g.jpg https://i.imgur.com/6sg8ZLj.jpg You can basically see the ocean, Anini Beach (I think), and the surf hitting the reef from any window, and the trade winds blowing in were great for sitting by the window and relaxing. We also got some visitors (geese, chickens, anoles) that were pretty fun to watch moving around outside. The condo is also a quick drive from Princeville's shopping center and Hanalei Town/Bay, all of which make for great eating or relaxing and swimming (Pink's Ice Cream is amazing). We also did a bit of driving around to go to Waimea Canyon, the Kalalau Trail (to Hanakapi'ai falls-- we're not impressive enough for the full trail!), Kapa'a, Kalihiwai Beach, and Eleele for a Na Pali sailing cruise, and it never felt too inconvenient going from Princeville to those places. It's a bit of a drive out to the south shore if you're going multiple days in a row, but not too bad, and the views on the drive are still great. The only negative, which wasn't really much of a problem, is that sometimes folks walk in front of the condo, and with the windows open for a breeze (a must IMO), it feels a little lacking in privacy. There are big curtains that can be drawn with the windows open, though they blow around a lot if they're not tucked aside. We decided pretty quickly that it was much better to have the views than worry about passersby, and it was still a pretty rare occurrence anyway. So overall, a great rental, great owner, incredible views. Highly recommended."

  • Fantastic Condo at Great Location!

"My husband and I surprised our son with a trip to Kauai for graduation. This condo was perfect! My son had his own room and bathroom and my husband and I enjoyed sleeping in the master bedroom. The condo is very clean and roomy. It comes with everything you could possibly need for a hiking or snorkeling trip. The snorkeling gear was in great condition and worked perfectly for us. We used the walking sticks for several of our hiking trips. We also used the coolers and beach chairs several times during our stay. Rod was always available to help answer any questions we had before we arrived. We had a wonderful time and will definitely look to book this condo again! Thank you, Rod, for sharing your condo with us!"

  • Excellent Stay!!!

"We had an excellent stay here for 9 days in July, 2016. The condo was fantastic! Here's some details of our stay: The Condo: The condo has high ceilings and an open design. It has a very nice décor. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms were huge! We felt right at home very quickly. The furniture was very comfortable and all of the bedding and linens are top quality. The kitchen has nice full size appliances and lots of utensils. The large patio overlooks the tropical garden and pool area. Our daughter swam in the pool almost everyday and loved it! The wifi had strong signal strength throughout the condo and had pretty good speed. The cable tv had a decent choice of channels. There are 3 TV's, one in each bedroom and one in the main living room. There is also a washer and dryer which we used a couple times. We also used the gym (in the activity center across from the pool) and it was nice and had both weights and cardio equipment. Another great thing was all of the beach equipment there at the condo. Lots of beach towels, 6 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 3 coolers, and plenty of beach toys for the kids. Just bring swimsuits and sunscreen, everything else is ready to go! Location: Right in the heart of Princeville. Very convenient to everything on the north shore. We were all over the island during our stay, but liked the north shore area the best. Lots of things within walking distance or a quick car ride away. Whether it was beaches, restaurants, shopping, hiking, watersports, everything is right there. Almost every night we walked right down the street and watched the sunset at a scenic overlook just a few blocks away. Beautiful! We will definitely be back!!!"
