  • Relaxing and Comfy

"The unit my husband and I stayed in was 7101, which is like a studio. It was perfect for the two of us, we didn't really spend much time inside. What I liked about this unit is that it was the farthest from the parking lot, pool activity, tennis courts, and restaurant/eatery. The only foot traffic was that of the adjoining unit and it felt more secluded and private. As this unit was farthest, it was quite a hike up hill to the car, pool, and other areas of the resort. If you are a smoker, the only smoking that is allowed on the resort property is one section of the parking lot. I don't smoke, which was no big deal for myself, but if you do smoke, then it may be an inconvenience. I didn't mind the semi steep incline. For those who would mind, there is golf cart service to pick you up and drop you off, which was nice when carrying groceries or luggage. The unit had beach accessories, microwave, and mini fridge. The pool area had three BBQ grills, a regular stove/oven, fridge - very easy to accommodate cooking your own regular meals. The lanai provided a very nice private view. The only negative would be very thin walls. We could hear every word spoken in the attached unit. Thankfully, our neighbors were respectful in the evening. Free wifi is available in the unit, if you follow the instructions for connecting provided by the resort. Communication was pleasant and very easy with Lisa. We enjoyed our five day stay, the privacy and view of this location, and would return again."

  • So close to Paradise

"Week is not enough, probably month wouldn't be enough either. What a beautiful place that makes you feel like home with personal touch of amazing owners that just by talking to them or exchanging e-mails they became your close friends. It was our second time to Alii Kai place and there will be many more for sure. Harriet is amazing lady with so much kindness and personality that it is really difficult to describe our feelings. This was way overdelivered despite our high expectations. Everything in posted reviews is well deserved +++++ Thank you so much Harriet and Brian. We are planning our next year vacation already George and Ania"

  • Our week in Paradise

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a wonderful time in Kauai! This condo is located close to some of what turned out ot be our favorite places on the Island. It was clean and well stocked, it even had a crock pot, spices and a Ninja blender. I was able to make some fresh smoothies wiht some of the local fruit and veggies we picked up at the Farmer's Markets. We were a little dissapointed that the a/c didn't circulate well into two of the bedrooms and that we needed to buy liquid plummber to keep the drains flowing but other than that it was a great deal and we had a wonderful time."

  • Way beyond expectations!!!

"The villa was beautiful and the views were spectacular. The place felt like home from the beginning. The villas were recommended to us by a friend who has stayed there for 12 years in a row. He was spot on with his recommendation. Thanks for the beautiful accommodations."
