  • More comfortable than Home!

"This rental is such a comfortable and beautiful place to stay! It's not often that a hotel or rental home exceeds what you expect, but this one does! It was immaculate, with gorgeous views, a well-equipped kitchen, and great beds. It was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 3 young teens. Communication with the owners was easy, and we appreciated a welcome gift and use of a Maika'i card for the grocery store. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards, and wheeling cooler were VERY helpful too! The location is great for North and East Shore exploring. My husband loved the convenience to the golf course and had a phenomenal golfing experience. The only drawback, and it bothered my husband more than me, was the lack of AC. This is very common in Hawaii though, and I generally prefer minimal AC. It might be that we had an unusually hot week, with little breeze... but even with all the fans, it was quite warm. Otherwise, a perfect property! The pool and hot tub are great too. The kids LOVED coming back from our day of exploring and getting in the pool at night. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it!"

  • Spectacular mountain view, well stocked

"Loved the location, a short walk to magical "Hideaways" beach which is great for swimming and snorkeling. Quiet, peaceful. Step outside your front door to watch the sun set over the ocean (in the summer only). Stargazing any time it's clear. Rain is frequent in Kauai; be prepared. Do the Napali hike (first two miles) but bring Keens or similar "river" sandals as hiking on this island is MUDDY. House had everything, even a ukelele and discount cards for the local grocery store (Foodland in Princeville). Best stocked VRBO we've ever stayed in. Delighted to find a rice cooker, electric skillet, blender. Beach gear, too. Most unexpected delight: the view from the back patios (upper and lower) is simply spectacular. The golf course is mostly hidden by forest, and the mountains fill the scene. I could've sat there all day. We did have one significant issue and contacted the homeowner, who responded promptly and had it immediately taken care of. Highly recommend this property."

  • THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ON KAUAI!

"We searched extensively for a condo that would give us the best possible vacation. Our goals were spectacular view, full amenities, sunset, air conditioning, luxury, easy parking, safe environment, close to grocery, full kitchen for cooking, grill for bbq, beaches nearby. What we got with this unit was more than we wished for. Zellie and Lloyd made certain that all you need when you come to this unit are your clothes and some groceries. Everything else they provide! We felt so at home, the sunset views were amazing. We enjoyed watching the activity just below in the beautiful Pacific. We are beach people, so we did found it was a struggle to get to most beaches on the North Shore. What we found, however, was the best beach and the best snorkeling was just below at Hideaway. The trip down is a challenge, but once you get used to it, it becomes simple. Bring shoes for hiking that you don't mind getting dirty, or water shoes. Grocery was so close you did not even have to go out of the resort area to get to it. Wonderful area for walking and exploring. Check out the St. Regis of course, (expensive) but also Hanalei Beach Resort which is directly opposite. Nice outdoors restaurant and beautiful landscaping. Queens Bath very close, within resort area, but also a challenge. Make sure you check out all of the little shops and food court near the grocery store. We were there in August and the trades had not returned, so we were glad we paid for the additional air conditioning. Well worth it!!! We can't say enough about this unit, if you stay on the North Shore, this is where you want to stay!!!"
