  • Wonderful place to stay !

"We are so glad we chose this villa for our winter home away from home. Spacious, and comfortable, it had everything we needed to feel at home. We truly did not want to leave ! The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances are all top notch. We really appreciated all the beach equipment, good beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards amd even snorkel gear was available. All the beds were super comfortable and the master suites are huge ! Noise was never an issue, the few times that there were neighbours next door we never heard a thing, if we hadn't actually seen that people were next door we would have never known they were there. The grocery store, shops and restaurants of Princeville are just a short walk away. We enjoyed the pool on site and used the bbq there often, it was always clean and well maintained. Villa's on the Prince is just a ten or fifteen minute drive to the town and beach at Hanalei and also to the beautiful Aninni Beach. We loved the north shore, so lush, green and beautiful. The time of year that we were there the North shore is considered the "rainy " side of the island I must say we seldom had rainy days, thank- you El Nino ! The days we did have rain, it still was plenty warm and the rain did not keep us indoors for long, we would just grab an umbrella and go. The rain seldom lasted long and if it looked to be socked in for the day then we would jump in the car and head south and find the sun. Highlights of our stay were definetely drivng to Waimea Canyon wow ! Snorkelling at the beach in Poipu was like swimming in an aquarium with every color of tropical fish imaginable swimming with you, Hanalei Bay is hands down one of the most beautiful spots on the planet and we were so glad it was just a short drive away we spent the majority of our beach days there. The owners of the condo Tammy and Mike were always accessable to answer questions quickly and the few little issues we had were always quickly resolved. Kauai will always hold a special place in our hearts and memories due in no small part to this wonderful place at Villas on the Prince."

  • Best place we ever rented

"This outstanding property looked like it had been professionally furnished. It was exquisite. The kitchen was a chef's dream come true, the chairs and sofas were of the highest quality, the wall hangings were wonderfully thought out, and to top it off, the MB mattress was heaven. The Puu Poa property is the very last property in Princeville before you get to the end-of-the-road, (and best view in Princeville) St. Regis hotel. As far as we could tell, there was not a better location for a condo inside of Princeville. In fact, we were watching tv one night, looking at local real estate listings. This condo had a neighbor selling theirs in the 1.35 million range. At that price, the weekly rental was a bargain. Behind the property is a very fun and challenging climb to one of the nicest beaches we've ever visited. It's very small and remote, so it felt like we had it to ourselves and a few others. Wear your backup shoes and clothes down the hill. That red mud is nearly impossible to wash off. The unit had very cleverly placed shudders, so we could enjoy cool breezes and hear waves crashing without sun shining in the BR in the morning. Paul has quite the AV setup if you get rained out, or desire nighttime TV. We continued our House of Cards marathon at nights during our stay, utilizing Paul's Netflix account. It appeared that he had other providers (Amazon?) as well. I can't say enough about this unit and Paul's hospitality as well. Paul as well as his unit #304 at Puu Poa made for an absolutely enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this property!"

  • Beautiful condo! Great location. Quiet, peaceful, serene and clean !

"We were impressed at the condo for the price . The condo was clean and pretty much equipped with everything you need. few things I can remember : pack n play, high chair ( for little ones) , blow dryer, beach mats, snorkel, beach chairs, beach umbrella, starter kit (shampoo, conditioner, soaps, dishwashing liquid, detergent), lotsa towels, blender, cooler, tv , cable, free wifi, water shoes, guidebooks, and I can't remember much now. The place is spacious, big or enough for a family of 4. There is a nice hike down to turtle cove across the condo. Can be muddy but beautiful. No AC but there are ceiling fans and standing fans. Can get hot but just open up the windows and let the trade winds in. Will definitely stay here again!"
