  • Perfect Retreat!

"I celebrated my 60th last October with my family and stayed in this beautiful unit for our 12-day stay on Kaua'i's North Shore. The owners knew exactly what vacationers need and this place felt like our home in Kauai -- very comfortable and had everything we needed. The place is located on the bluffs, overlooking the ocean and beaches down below. The lanai faces the ravine which adds to the tropical feel of the place, and the window in the living allows for a glimpse of the mountains and waterfalls. The unit is only a walking distance to St Regis Hotel at the end of Ka Haku Road ... you can enjoy morning strolls and if you are lucky, you may even see rainbows over the ocean. This place is beautifully decorated and has a cottage feel to it. October was a nice time of year to be here and it felt cool in the evenings. This unit is conveniently close to the parking area, so it is nice that you would not have to carry items too far from your car. Thanks to the owner of this place. We felt it was a fantastic place to call home in Kaua'i."

  • Spectacular View -- The Best!

"We loved the North Shore and our home base for five nights before heading to the East Side of Kauai. We did the Kalalau Trail (two miles in and two miles out) the day after we arrived. The path is difficult (rocky and muddy) but so worth it for the views. Definitely bring walking sticks. We went to all the secluded beaches (the most beautiful beaches ever), and the hikes again are muddy and some places steep. The easier beaches to get to are Tunnels, Anini and Hanalei Bay. The secluded ones are a 15 to 20 minute hike. Those beaches are Hideaway Beach (snorkeling great there), Queen’s Bath, and Secret Beach. The small village of Hanalei has cute shops, market, and great restaurants (Bar Acuda was one we really enjoyed). Be sure to check out the Lighthouse and Limahuli Garden & Preserve. So much to do on the North Shore. We were happy we rented Linda’s condo to explore the area before we went East on the Island. Thanks Linda, for your quick response time and all the information. Love Kauai!! FYI, be sure to check out the South Beaches (they are just as spectacular), Waimea Canyon, Koke’e State Park, Wailua Falls, Lydgate Beaches/Park while on the Island. We spent a total of 12 days, and hated to leave. Lots more to explore! It made it convenient staying on the East Side to explore and hike the South Shore and canyon."

  • Clean, well supplied with beautiful views

"We were very pleased overall with the condo. It was very clean, well furnished with beautiful views from the 3rd floor (top floor). It had a nice patio with a furnished table and comfortable chairs for coffee drinking in the mornings. One plus for us is that the technology was as promised, good Wifi signal for keeping up with some work back home and two quality flat screen t.v.'s, one in the living area and one in the master bedroom. For some reason we find that lots of property owners in Hawaii think you shouldn't want a t.v. in the master bedroom (or a tv at all) because "your in Hawaii". The only reason I didn't go to a 5 star is either because of certain things that are out of the control of the condo owner or things in general that may not have be great for us but others would not have minded. For the last star I did not select was because of the fan that ran 24/7 in the master bath, simply shutting the bathroom door at night helped with the noise we found. It was a pretty crowded place but we just don't like crowds. The pool area seemed small for the size of the complex. That all being said, If you are a person who likes resorts you really can not go wrong with this condo and the views are very nice! Sparky"

  • Very Nice

"The owner was a pleasure to deal with and was flexible when we needed to add an extra night. The condo is warm and inviting. We were very comfortable. It includes everything you would need such as soaps, detergents, and towels. The owner also makes available beach gear like beach chairs, beach umbrella, floats, etc. We slept great in the comfortable beds. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It is convenient to a beach we fell in love with called Hideaways. There is heavy precipitation in Princeville and rained every day but one. We stayed in early June."
