  • Very comfortable and well apointed

"We Loved staying at this Condo. It is in a small complex that feels cozy and has some actual residents and not just tourists. Everything was very nice except the deck looked out on the parking lot. Close to all north shore activities but just off the beaten path. We would stay here again with no hesitation."

  • The most idyllic natural setting – an absolute gem in the hidden heart of Kauai's North Shore

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Red Ginger Hale on Kauai’s North Shore. It really is one of the most spectacular settings we have come across on our travels. The property is a stunning oasis buried in the rainforest. The surrounds are endlessly green with a sleepy atmosphere and the unit itself is retreat-like with comfortable furnishings, soft day beds, an expansive dining space and large windows throughout that face the beautiful greenery and nearby mountains. We honestly could have spent all four days just enjoying the serenity of the space. Just a note that the road to Red Ginger is a dirt road, full of potholes. We found it to be a fun and adventurous drive, but it was a challenge in our small economy-sized rental car. A Jeep or 4WD would handle the terrain far better. This really is a dream location and we would return tomorrow if we could!"

  • The pool & view was fantastic!

"The house is set up nicely with all bedrooms on the ground floor and kitchen and living area upstairs. Kitchen is well equipped with good knives and pots and pans and lanai with large table was a great gathering place. Jim the owner we called or little elf as he would appear to make sure the garbage was out on Tuesday and when there was a threat of a tropical storm he flipped the windows so the water wouldn't come into the house! We were very lucky to find this place. After playing on the beach we would come home and enjoy the pool and beautiful home."

  • Wonderful House, Wonderful Location

"This is a lovely house, just as described, maybe even better. What makes this place so wonderful is the location to Hanalei Beach and the Village of Hanalei. A short 5 minute walk and you are on the beach. They have provided everything you need for beach fun even including a beach cart so you don't have to lug you stuff over your shoulder! The house was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that while we were there they even had someone come and replace a ceiling fan that was noisy without us even mentioning it. I have worse fans in my own house that still aren't replaced! We had a minor plumbing issue and the owner had a repair person to the house very promptly and it was taken care of. The two suites in the back (an Upper and Lower Suite) are so comfortable and quiet except for the chickens! Had avocados right outside the door and a lovely back yard. Probably my favorite feature was the outside shower. We were there over a week and most of us didn't even use the indoor showers because the outdoor one was so nice and convenient. The only other thing that was better was getting to know the owner - Anne. She was so helpful and gracious to share her lovely home. I called her a few times to ask questions and she was always pleasant and happy to help. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives and hopefully will be able to return and enjoy it again soon!"
