Best place to stay in Princeville!
"We started our days on the lanai with a big plate of sweet local fruit and hot cup of Kona coffee while watching the sunrise over the distant mountainside and listening to gentle breeze blow through palm fronds and eucalyptus trees, accompanied by a symphony of tropical birds—a feast for all the senses. We were in total privacy except for the curious geckos who observed as we marveled at God’s creation. After a good night sleep on the most comfortable beds and a morning spent reconnection with nature, we were recharged and ready to explore the island. Exploring was easy as the house is conveniently located between the Cliffside resorts in Princeville and the charming beach town, Hanalei. The house is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a pristinely kept golf course community. A large park for children of all ages, basketball court, picnic area, public library, grocery store, shops, and restaurants are all in walking distance. The house itself is open and airy, tastefully decorated, and comfortably cool. Every room has windows that open, a balcony, and ceiling fan. Two of the bedrooms also have air-conditioning units (the one without it was cool enough with just the fan). The showers and bathrooms are huge and spa-like. The chef’s style kitchen was perfect. We loved cooking in it and enjoying our meals outside on the porch. In addition to all that goodness, the house was well-equipped with travel guides, Hawaiian music CDs, beach gear, and board games. It is a paradise within paradise.
There was a problem at check-in, but the owners were quick to respond and make things right. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay and we are so very grateful. It was the most relaxing / refreshing trip of our lives! We can’t imagine why anyone would even consider staying at the resorts when you can have all this at a fraction of the cost… plus a truly authentic Hawaiian experience—one to cherish forever."
