  • Beautiful Kauai by Prince Kuhio surf spot

"Enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Nice breeze into the front bedroom at night. Never needed air conditioning. Love the walkable access to the surf and to baby beach. The pool was clean and so warm, we lounged for hours in the water. Condo with well equipped kitchen. Appreciated things left behind like the olive oil and spices. The barbecues were clean and ready to use. Umbrella, chairs, nice quality beach towels. Only thing missing was snorkel gear. Ground floor perfect for my children. Good view from the bedroom. Experience was everything we could have asked for. Thank you. We hope to return soon."

  • Very nice unit

"This was our 5th time staying at the Kiahuna and our first time in unit 131. This is a very nicely decorated unit. Loved the mini view of the beach. The bed and pillows were were comfortable. The walk-in bathroom shower and sink counter were great too. I would have liked use of 4 of the 6 counter drawers instead of 2. The owner had 4 locked. All the furnishings were newer. The unit is pretty much as described by the owner. We used the outdoor BBQs many times and were pleased that they were cleaned each day. It was also nice to see they upgraded them. The grounds are very well maintained and the Kiahuna Plantation has a very nice uncrowded beach. This unit is next to the main road so I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. There was also music and party sounds coming from somewhere across the street by (not in) the shopping mall or pool almost every night. Other than this it is a very nice unit."

  • A lovely base for exploring Kauai

"This home was really perfect as well as the location very close to Waimea valley and Polihale. Furthermore, the Kekaha beach, with a lifeguard is within walking distance. 10 minutes drive and you can swim at the calmer Salt Pond Beach. The house is very welcoming with an airy atmospere and with the AC some hours before bedtime was enough to create a comfortable temperature for sleep with just the fans working slowly.. Every morning at dawn we walked and enjoyd the beautiful beach. Every evening we went down to the beach again to watch the stars and galaxies of the the Milky way. During the nights the sound of the surf beating the beach lulled us into calm sleep. Breakfasts and dinners prepared in the functinal and well equipped kitchen were enjoyed on the lanai with a great view of the ocean. The sunset from the lanai is worth some rush to be in time for. The house is very clean and no bugs within sight! Not even mosquitos on the lanai in the evenings. Scott is quick to answer questions and saved no efforts to make our stay a very pleasant one! Ask for the late check-out IF you have a late flight. The relaxed last day was worth it."
