  • Beautiful property

"Not what we expected, but a good week. Arrived for an anniversary week in the small house to find that we weren't expected. Called housekeeper after finding her number on the wall, and after consultation with owner (just returning from Spain to Pennsylvania) we were offered the "big" house for no extra charge. Turned out to be a beautiful place, and we had an extraordinary week. Small glitches, including wi-fi that never worked, but overall a wonderful week with gracious and adaptable owners who took responsibility for communications error at the start. Place is for sale, so may not be available with these owners for long, but we had a wholly satisfactory week there."

  • Great House in Paradise

"This year our group of 5 celebrated our 10th, 2-week stay at Paulele. We love the spaciousness of the house and lanai and the short walk to the beach. Another big plus is that the 3 bedrooms we utilize have their own bathrooms and there is an extra bathroom with shower off the living area. The kitchen is well-stocked and beach chairs, towels, etc. are provided. We appreciate the upgrades that have been made throughout the years -- a wagon for hauling our stuff to the beach was added this year. Our 2017 stay is already booked and we can hardly wait!"

  • Nice place to stay

"Great place to stay for a few days. Easy walk to a quiet beach. Mike let me borrow a surf board and bogie board, and was very helpful. A nice secluded retreat on the North end of the island. We stayed at the Sheraton on the south end for the last few days of our trip, but had more fun on the North shore. I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle if visiting in the rainy season as the red dirt roads get slick. The place has a propane grill which worked great. There is no AC, but plenty of fans in the house to keep you cool at night. Easy access to Princeville for grocery stores and dining. There is also an awesome fruit stand/coffee place at the turn off from main road. Make sure you try the acai bowl!"

  • Relaxing stay in a tropical paradise

"We just spent 10 amazing days exploring the island of Kauai! This condo in Alii Kai was spacious, comfortable, clean and fully equipped for all your needs. Although we didn't need the extra space, the condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms making it perfect for 2 couples or a family of four! An added bonus was an in-unit washer/dryer. The pool in the community was refreshing after returning from a day of activity. No need for an alarm clock...the roosters on the island will wake you every actually became beneficial giving us incentive to get up and go! The condo is conveniently located in Princeville, where you will find shops, a few restaurants and a good food market. The town of Hannalei Bay is a short drive from the condo and offers many good restaurants to enjoy as well as lots of shopping. Kauai is wonderful for active tourists as well as for those who just want to relax. We had a wonderful experience and hope to return one day. Thanks to Wendy and Tom for an amazing stay! We recommend this condo to won't be disappointed!"
