  • Home Away From Home

"Sublime, peaceful, beauty, comfort, a home away from home. Our first visit to Hawaii and spent 10 nights in Unit 181 and we knew immediately this would be our future destination place to stay. We are booking next year now too. This condo is the perfect location on the plantation and views are amazing. Condo has everything you could need. Ate our meals except one on the Lanai. We so enjoyed getting up early and watch the sun come up with a cup of coffee and of course the critters would visit (roosters and chickens) and some beautiful birds. Breezes were perfection and never once missed the AC. Flowers on the plantation are breathtaking so don't forget your walks through the gardens and actually all around. Drinks and dinner at the Planation restaurant is a must. Cute shops across the street and cool places to eat. Location perfect as away from main part of Kauai yet so close to everything we wanted and adventured to. Shaved-Ice a must in the little town and you can even have a delicious pizza delivered. Thank you for sharing your place with us."

  • perfect spot!

"we just got back from a week in Kauai- this condo was perfect. It's a 2 minute walk from the beach, has a huge upstairs area for all of us to socialize, had a great kitchen for organizing meals, and 2 beautiful decks. I was worried about it not being an end unit due to noise, and it is perfectly quite. Would highly recommend this unit!!"

  • Highly Recommend!!!

"This was my first time booking a room through VRBO and I was very nervous. Especially when I saw there was only 1 review (which thankfully expressed my same concerns and quickly put them to rest). This place is even better in person than in the pictures. It was complete and total paradise! The room was large and felt like an apartment that we could easily live in (we often joked about "missing" our flight and just living here LOL). I had the king bed to myself and the two 17 year old girls shared the pull out sofa bed (I offered to trade, but they said the sofa bed was comfortable and refused to trade). The kitchen was put to great use (we bought way too many groceries, though we gave all of our leftover groceries to a wonderful family from Australia in a nearby unit when we left). At first I didn't think I'd like that the room didn't have actual glass windows (I like dark and silent to sleep) but I found I had no problem sleeping to the sound of the ocean and the wind. The large blinds were actually really nice to have - especially to open and let in the wind to keep it cool in the room. Every minute we were home and awake we had all of the blinds open and just enjoyed the wonderful view. We especially loved just stepping out the slider door right onto the grassy area and over to the beach. We often did it just because we could! LOL We spent every morning and evening just taking in the awesomeness of the ocean. It was also very convenient having the towel shack right next to us :-) The girls also took surf lessons through them and had a great time. We also took in several adventure tours (Koloa Zipline, Wailua Kayaking, and Mountain Tubing Adventure) that we highly recommend. You will need a rental car, but parking was free. I can go on and on about how much we loved this unit. You will NOT be disappointed! And we will definitely be back!"

  • It's an absolutely wonderful condo to stay at!!

"It's been our third trip to Kauai, and after enjoying another two weeks at this beautiful condo, my wife and I are already thinking about coming back here again...soon! Dean and Paul have done everything possible to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. From the moment you walk through that front door, you know that you are going to love this place. As with many of their other happy guests, you feel like this is your home away from home. From the awesome view of the ocean and the plantation while enjoying your breakfast on the lanai, to the close proximity to many of the popular sites and restaurants on the South Shore, the luau next door at the Sheraton, a short drive to Old Koloa Town, Friday night Art Walk in charming Hanapepe, and the list of things to do is endless! Thank you again, Dean and Paul, we are coming back!"
