  • Beautiful Kiahuna Plantation and Condo, April 15 - 23/16

"We had a fantastic time in Kauai! We loved the Kiahuna Plantation and the condo, and felt they were the best place to stay on the south shore. We went snorkeling at Poipu Beach in the morning (a monk seal or two were always there), then did some sightseeing in the afternoon. Some of our favorite things were seeing Waimea Canyon, hiking along the cliffs beginning at Shipwreck Beach, and taking a catamaran sunset trip to Na Pali. We used Blue Dolphin and the crew was fantastic! We got lucky on that trip and saw a mother whale and her calf less than 50 feet from the boat! It was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. The next time we come back to Kauai, we definitely will stay here again! We loved it as it was in the perfect location for us to enjoy the sights and beauty of the island. Thank you for making our stay so special!"

  • comfortable condo

"This condo does not have a view of a lawn area or garden but is very comfortable if you can do without that. It has many beautiful trees instead. It is set back from the ocean but it is a very easy walk to the beach and you don't have to lug anything because your towels and chairs are already there. Poipu Shopping Center and Health Club are across the street. Children have a wonderful time in the pool with its slide and sand entrance. I would highly recommend staying at Kiahuna Plantation condos."

  • Highly Recommend!!!

"This was my first time booking a room through VRBO and I was very nervous. Especially when I saw there was only 1 review (which thankfully expressed my same concerns and quickly put them to rest). This place is even better in person than in the pictures. It was complete and total paradise! The room was large and felt like an apartment that we could easily live in (we often joked about "missing" our flight and just living here LOL). I had the king bed to myself and the two 17 year old girls shared the pull out sofa bed (I offered to trade, but they said the sofa bed was comfortable and refused to trade). The kitchen was put to great use (we bought way too many groceries, though LOL....so we gave all of our leftover groceries to a wonderful family from Australia in a nearby unit when we left). At first I didn't think I'd like that the room didn't have actual glass windows (I like dark and silent to sleep) but I found I had no problem sleeping to the sound of the ocean and the wind. The large blinds were actually really nice to have - especially to open and let in the wind to keep it cool in the room. Every minute we were home and awake we had all of the blinds open and just enjoyed the wonderful view. We especially loved just stepping out the slider door right onto the grassy area and over to the beach. We often did it just because we could! LOL We spent every morning and evening just taking in the awesomeness of the ocean. It was also very convenient having the towel shack right next to us :-) The girls also took surf lessons through them and had a great time. We also took in several adventure tours (Koloa Zipline, Wailua Kayaking, and Mountain Tubing Adventure) that we highly recommend. You will need a rental car, but parking was free. I can go on and on about how much we loved this unit. You will NOT be disappointed! And we will definitely be back!"

  • Nice place

"We stayed at unit 63 for 5 days. We had a wonderful stay, Kiahuna Plantation is very well cared for and beautiful. The location made it convenient for our day trips, the south side of Kauai is gorgeous. All of Kauai is gorgeous. I found cooking there to be somewhat of a challenge, simple things like knives need sharpening, the top of the lid of a saucepan fell off, all small things really. I do enjoy cooking some meals in as food is very expensive on the island. There were no spices to speak of, but again, just small stuff. All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed our visit. The staff at Kiahuna plantation is very accommodating. I would go back, no doubt. It would be nice to turn the roosters off at 6:00 am!"
