  • Great resort style location

"My wife and I spent a week here on our first trip to Kauia. After spending a busy week in Maui and a week on the big island this was a welcome and relaxing stay. The unit was very week decorated and spacious. Everything we needed for our stay was provided right down to a flashlight for walking the grounds at night. You can spend time visiting the island sites or rake a break and spend time on the grounds or at the beach. Everything you need is very close including some good places to eat. Thank you we really enjoyed it."

  • Perfect Spot for my Wife's 80th Birthday

"You cannot beat the location of this ground floor end unit. You do not have to “go” to the beach, you're there. Breakfast on the lanai offers outstanding views and the famous Poipu sunsets from the grass in front of our lanai provided for memorable experiences as well. This was our fourth stay at Kiahuna. On our most recent stay there we loved the beachfront location and had learned about it on your website so we stopped by and asked the current renters about their level of satisfaction with the unit and the owners. High marks on both scores. In April of 2015 my wife decided that she’d like to return to Kiahuna to celebrate her 80th. I got in touch with the co-owner by email and we made the appropriate arrangements. He proved to be exceptionally responsive and affable so we have been able to do everything by email. This unit is managed by Castle Resorts. They do a good job and try to be as responsive as possible to their guests. In this particular case they did an outstanding job of assuring a Disabled Parking spot very close to the condo by actually creating one for me. The advantage of an end unit is that one has excellent cross ventilation as well as more light (we have stayed in a middle unit before and, believe me, ends are better). The furniture was in excellent condition and the kitchen furnished fully as one would expect. When we go back I’ll get better instructions on how to use the cable TV more effectively but we did all right. The wi-fi signal was very strong at all times. Our ten-night stay included one day’s housekeeping services in the rate and we were given our choice of when that was to be. We chose the Wednesday (we had arrived Friday) and were allowed to select the time for that service. It was done completely with all linens swapped out and all expendable items replaced. Everything worked as expected and things were, as the Brits say, “in good nick.” We got home late Monday night and I wrote this on Wednesday because I wanted to do it while everything was fresh in my mind. But, prior to doing so, I contacted the owner and booked the condo for the same time next year. Another happy birthday at Kiahuna, something to look forward to with great anticipation!"

  • excellent location

"My wife and I have stayed at this condo many times. We just love it. Rob is very easy to deal with, nice young man. The grounds, of the plantation, are just beautiful. The south shore is very quiet. Poipu beach is perfect for swimming/snorkeling. It's an easy walk, through the plantation, to the beach. Kaui is our favorite island."

"Whether you're looking to relax or have a base camp for tropical adventures, #5 hits the mark. Our stay was a dream. This was actually our second time booking with the owner, the first time was our honeymoon - we had such an amazing time we had to come back. We did a bit of everything - from surfing and hiking to relaxing on the beach and having a drink. The unit is secluded from the rest of the condos, and is feet from the beach - the sound of surf at night lulls you to sleep. Besides the amazing location, details such as a high quality mattress (a must on our vacations) and a gourmet kitchen make it feel like a second home. The owner shared great tips both times that made us feel like locals, from the farmers market to great local spots to eat/hang out."
