  • Lovely home

"Stayed here for 1.5 weeks while my husband and I were attending a conference at the Hyatt. Had our 2.5 year old and 6 month old with us, as well as nanny. The house was beautiful and enough space for all of us. We primarily picked the house for its size as well as location. Easily within walking distance to the Hyatt as well as Poipu beach park. House had everything we needed for cooking, etc. Only complaint was that the dryer took a long while to dry loads of laundry, but it was pretty humid and rainy during our trip. The TV in one of the bedrooms wasn't working and within the next day or two, someone came out and brought a whole new TV, which was great. Really, nothing to complain about - we loved our trip!"

  • The Hale Mana Kai was excellent!

"We rented the Hale Mana Kai for an extended family vacation. We had nine people in total including 8 adults and 1 child. Two of the adults were seniors. The rooms and property were excellent. We enjoyed the kitchen and lanai area very much. Each bedroom had its own ensuite bathroom and there were two more bathrooms AND an outdoor shower that we took full use of. The breeze that constantly blew through the home from the ocean was a welcomed relief from the warm temperatures and humidity. Air Conditioning is a steep extra fee, and we chose not to purchase it. The breeze was perfect. Allen was great and very helpful when we arrived and help get us situated. The property was very well maintained. The property is within walking distance to the Grand Hyatt and Shipwreck Beach (not good for swimming). We would definitely rent this property again. It was very low key and relaxing. We frequented a few restaurants in town. We also went to the fish market to get a slab of Ono and Opa to grill on the BBQ. Big Save market in Koloa was a good little grocery store."

  • Fantastic Vacation Home

"This home was perfect for our group of 8, ages 17 - 60. Plenty of space for relaxing all together or spread out through out the house. The pink pong table was a fun surprise and the extra fridge came in handy. It was nice to have coolers to use and beach gear. 2 beach's with in minutes walk, shopping and restaurants 5 minutes away by car. The kitchen and BBQ were put to good use. Thank you Jim and Julaine for sharing this with us. Pat"

  • Nice place

"We stayed at unit 63 for 5 days. We had a wonderful stay, Kiahuna Plantation is very well cared for and beautiful. The location made it convenient for our day trips, the south side of Kauai is gorgeous. All of Kauai is gorgeous. I found cooking there to be somewhat of a challenge, simple things like knives need sharpening, the top of the lid of a saucepan fell off, all small things really. I do enjoy cooking some meals in as food is very expensive on the island. There were no spices to speak of, but again, just small stuff. All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed our visit. The staff at Kiahuna plantation is very accommodating. I would go back, no doubt. It would be nice to turn the roosters off at 6:00 am!"
