  • Excellent for families and large groups

"Our family of ten ( six adults, four children) stayed at the Hale Aloha from July 9 - August 7, 2016. The home worked perfectly for us with two master suites, two bedrooms with two beds for children, another bedroom with a king sized bed, and four bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and supplied to accommodate a large group. A second refrigerator in the garage meant we could buy perishables in bulk and keep our beverages cold! The dining table could accommodate ten. There was a TV in bedrooms, family room and living room. The hot tub on the patio was well utilized (with weekly pool service). The home was very clean when we arrived, and the staff who did a mid-stay clean did an excellent job. Beach towels and accessories were provided (eg, 10+ beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys). We were pleasantly surprised how sound deadening it was considering our active children and adults! Property management acted very promptly on a couple minor issues and one repair (thank you Jim). The home is located on a quiet street in the Bayview area, with a 10-15 minutes walk to beaches and the main pool along a beautifully landscaped walkway. Highly recommend this home for family groups."

  • A breezy, cozy home in paradise

"My husband and I have recently returned from a wonderful stay in this wonderful unit. As promised the condo gets a lot of light, and the the tropical breezes will keep you cool and comfortable through the night. The grounds are beautiful, and the bungalows that make up the complex feel charming as compared to some of the larger new hotels in the area. The swimming conditions were excellent on the south shore, and though we love exploring and did our fare share of it, we would have been happy to stay on property the whole time and just soak it all in. The unit is clean, and comfortable. Being a bit away from the main thoroughfare makes it private while still more then easily accessible to the beach, gardens and restaurant on property. Many thanks to the owners for entrusting us with this gem, we can't wait to come back!"

  • Lovely home

"Stayed here for 1.5 weeks while my husband and I were attending a conference at the Hyatt. Had our 2.5 year old and 6 month old with us, as well as nanny. The house was beautiful and enough space for all of us. We primarily picked the house for its size as well as location. Easily within walking distance to the Hyatt as well as Poipu beach park. House had everything we needed for cooking, etc. Only complaint was that the dryer took a long while to dry loads of laundry, but it was pretty humid and rainy during our trip. The TV in one of the bedrooms wasn't working and within the next day or two, someone came out and brought a whole new TV, which was great. Really, nothing to complain about - we loved our trip!"

  • Highly Recommend!!!

"This was my first time booking a room through VRBO and I was very nervous. Especially when I saw there was only 1 review (which thankfully expressed my same concerns and quickly put them to rest). This place is even better in person than in the pictures. It was complete and total paradise! The room was large and felt like an apartment that we could easily live in (we often joked about "missing" our flight and just living here LOL). I had the king bed to myself and the two 17 year old girls shared the pull out sofa bed (I offered to trade, but they said the sofa bed was comfortable and refused to trade). The kitchen was put to great use (we bought way too many groceries, though LOL....so we gave all of our leftover groceries to a wonderful family from Australia in a nearby unit when we left). At first I didn't think I'd like that the room didn't have actual glass windows (I like dark and silent to sleep) but I found I had no problem sleeping to the sound of the ocean and the wind. The large blinds were actually really nice to have - especially to open and let in the wind to keep it cool in the room. Every minute we were home and awake we had all of the blinds open and just enjoyed the wonderful view. We especially loved just stepping out the slider door right onto the grassy area and over to the beach. We often did it just because we could! LOL We spent every morning and evening just taking in the awesomeness of the ocean. It was also very convenient having the towel shack right next to us :-) The girls also took surf lessons through them and had a great time. We also took in several adventure tours (Koloa Zipline, Wailua Kayaking, and Mountain Tubing Adventure) that we highly recommend. You will need a rental car, but parking was free. I can go on and on about how much we loved this unit. You will NOT be disappointed! And we will definitely be back!"
