  • Fantastic condo

"I'd say everything was almost close to perfection. Spacious, nice furnishing, and well equipped. The only point is that the unit was not prepared for my arrival. At first, I thought I was in the wrong unit because the bed was undone, there were pillows in the couch and leftovers in the fridge. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it so I just called Kay and she promptly sent someone to do the cleaning. She even offered me to get a dinner while the cleaning team was there. Fortunately, it was done quickly so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation nicely. I don't know exactly what happened there as apparently she wasn't aware that I was coming. Other than that, I reiterate that except for this little issue, I loved the unit and definitely would recommend it. It is quite an outstanding property."

  • Great spot at Kiahuna Plantation

"This was our third trip to Kiahuna Plantation and first time staying at the Garlands' place. The condo is a 2BR/2Bath, very nicely furnished, spotless, situated close to the restaurant and office, with a peak of the Ocean out of the living room. On our previous visits, we booked directly with Outrigger, which was fine. However, having a point of contact, especially one as helpful as Judy, was a much more pleasant experience. I would recommend the Garlands' place on that basis alone. She helped coordinate our arrival, made recommendations for restaurants, checked in with me numerous times to make sure I had everything I needed, and then made arrangements for us to check in to the condo early, which was a huge help as we got there in the morning. Thank you, Judy. The garden location was very nice, and very quiet. There's a bbq right down below the unit, which we used a couple of times. I also appreciated the proximity to the restaurant/bar and a couple of times my wife and I hopped over there for a cocktail before dinner. The location also puts you close to the Poipu shopping village - we walked over there each morning for coffee. The unit itself was great. It has every amenity you would expect to find in a well stocked place. Beds were very comfortable and easily accommodated our family of 4, with room to spare. Everything was exactly as advertised. Lastly, I'll just give a shout out to Kiahuna Plantation in general. I've yet to find a place on Kauai that can match the killer beachfront location, ambiance (just walk the grounds at dusk and you'll se what I mean) and chill vibe of Kiahuna. I get the impression that they get a lot of repeat visitors and it's easy to see why. Thanks again to Garland family for having us."

  • A wonderful home away from home!

"This condo was perfect for our family of 4. The 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths created a wonderful space for us to come back to relax It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The views of the ocean and mountains from the lanai were gorgeous! The proximity to both shipwreck and poipu beaches as well as restaurants and shopping was great. While it was close enough to drive or walk to things, it was also far enough away to create a peaceful setting. We would walk/run in the morning to the Hyatt or Poipu beach which were both only about 1/2 mile away. The beach chairs, cooler and towels were an added bonus for our beach days. Thank you Muth family for providing such a wonderful condo unit."

  • Peaceful Kauai Vacation

"The home is very lovely and well stocked. The landscaping is gorgeous with plumeria trees and tropical flowers in bloom everywhere. The first morning I walked out and picked a fresh bouquet! We visited with our married daughter and college aged twins. There are plenty of seating areas to enjoy conversations or relax and read. The beach is a short walk down the road where we enjoyed swimming, surfing and saw 3 Hawaiin Monk seals! There is plenty of seating on the lanai to enjoy outdoor meals or to lounge and read a book. We had a wonderful time."
