Best Place for a dream vacation!

We want to thank Bruce and Betty Trubo for sharing their lovely condo with us. This was a dream vacation for us & to stay in such a fabulous home, the nicest place we have stayed, It was the best choice for us! We would love to come back and stay again, so glad our daughter and family stayed at Poipu Sands recently and was sure we would love it! We enjoyed all the extras and good advice from Bruce, the hike past ship wreck beach is fabulous, the Beach House Resturant delicious and lawn chairs so handy for sitting on the beaches. Private home with a 5 star resort feel

Our family of 4 couples and 3 year old stayed in this lovely home for a week. Even after readying the rave reviews, the property far exceeded our expectations. Each bedroom is spacious with its own air conditioning settings. The two downstairs bedrooms share a bath and the other 3 have private baths. The kitchen is well equipped with every cooking appliance and gadget you need. The pots and pans are high quality and in excellent shape as is the gas bbq. We ate almost every meal at the house and found cooking to be part of the fun. The main room is open and airy. with a small TV area for those that want to watch TV and can be seen from anywhere in the main room but is NOT the focus of the room. There is another comfortable sitting area to gather as well as a table large enough to seat 10 people comfortably so meals can be enjoyed together. Also the deck has a large round patio table and umbrella to dine and seats 10 comfortable as well. It was a wonderful way to enjoy the colorful sky at sunset. The outside is lush and the pool is beautiful. All the outside furniture is comfortable can sit quietly to read or nap. Also the hot tub and hammock add to the relaxation. The house is well stocked with paper goods and in each bathroom shampoo, conditioner and soap was provided for ease of packing. The house also has boogie boards, beach chairs and egyptian towels to use and there was a small toy basket for our 3 year old grandson. Upon arrival Dan showed us around the property, answered questions and then left with the words "enjoy your stay this is your home for the week." He takes pride in the house and in your stay. The house was much more than just a place to stay while in Kauai....and we found ourselves after many morning and early afternoon excursions wanting to just return to the house and enjoy the pool area together. It was a perfect situation as one of the couples are from Australia and family time is precious....so a lovely setting to spend quality time together was important. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes and there is another beach which is a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk..."Poipu Beach Park"....that area provides a swim beach for kids, a coral reef with great snorkeling and paddle and surf boards. There is a hiking trail that begins just yards from the property called Maha'ulepu and is a beautiful 4.5 mile round trip hike. This property made our family trip extra special! Hopefully we will return soon!
