"We absolutely loved this unit with the aloha feeling of the islands. Newly decorated and furnished in an adorable Kauai style. This unit is situated in a great location where activities and dining and just relaxing are all within minutes or even just a walk away. It is always cool on the 3rd floor with that ocean breeze and the great view. We would fall asleep to the sound of surf and awake to beautiful sun rises every day. World class surfing just across the street provides a spectacle for the eyes or a challenge if you are up to it."

  • Cute, clean condo. Great location & owners!

"Having stayed at many condos on the various Hawaiian islands, I can say this studio at Prince Kuhio was a wonderful value and provided a welcoming stay! The studio is conveniently located in the Poipu area. The small Lawai Beach is right across the street. It's a short drive to Poipu Beach and walking distance (or a very short drive) to Kukui'ula Village Shopping Center--which has several dining options. The lawn of the Beach House Restaurant across the street is a great place to watch the sunset. The unit is pretty spacious for a studio. It was very clean and well equipped with a cute "tropical bamboo" decor. We really appreciated all the kitchen necessities as well as the beach chairs & cooler. It's so convenient to have these items provided. There is an ocean and park view from the lanai. If you're a light sleeper--the roosters in the park next door may be an issue (I personally think they add to the charm of Kauai). Just use earplugs or turn the air on at night to help with that. There is ample parking available--there is a small lot as well as a parking garage shared with the complex next door. Communication with the owner was fantastic. She sent a cute card with instructions for getting to the condo, where the best place to park was, etc. before we even left home. The instructions were perfect--no getting lost or wondering if we were in the right spot. The owners even left a nice thank you card with coffee, tea, & a calendar for us upon arrival--a very nice personal touch. Also, received another personalized thank you card with the return of my deposit. It's great to deal with such attentive & thoughtful owners who carry on the Aloha spirit! Mahalo Julie & Darryl! We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Kauai."

  • Prince Kuhio condo, vacation rental, Kauai.

"This is one of the better condos at Prince Kuhio. The condo comes with everything a visitor to Kauai could want. Clean, wonderful king bed, lots gizmos, washer dryer, two TVs and lots of Aloha. We have been coming to the PK condos for 20 years and have stayed at a number of different condos, this is one of the best!"

  • Superb Penthouse

"A superb Penthouse suite with spectacular views of the ocean. Well equipped 2bed, one bath with the most comfortable beds going. Although the apartment has no air conditioning, it's not needed as we closed all the blinds as we left for the day and then opened all the doors and windows for the cross breeze at night when we returned...what more could you ask for?...OK, Ocean waves breaking on the shore....that's just over the road. Yes there is a small road below on a 15mph speed limit (which almost everyone complied with), yet at night there is no traffic of any great number and we were never disturbed by noisy vehicles. There are several 'Farmers markets' in the area that are a must visit along with good gourmet foods at "Living Foods' just at the roundabout on the way in to Poipo. The Plantation House is a stand out restaurant. Great atmosphere, good live music but unfortunately once away from there the other restaurants leave something to be desired. We were struck that other places were generic and you could be sitting in any city, any town, more of the Americanized 'get you in, serve it up and get you out' and although the food was wasn't stand out, so no other recommendations're on your own. Driving. With only one main road, speed limits pegged at 50, slow traffic is common so allow plenty of travel time...roll the windows down, turn off the air-conditioning and enjoy the great Hawaiian air. Oceans. There's a small beach to the west...ideal for snorkeling (although we felt that the fish were hand fed as they were right in our face) otherwise...get moving and check out plenty of others (But watch for rip tides) The Botanical Gardens are a must visit. Well worth having the guided tour as the history is important. Best Island. Best apartment. Best Holiday"
