  • Very comfortable and convenient. Well stocked and convenient to all amenities.

"We enjoyed our stay at Brennecke Beach Bungalow very much. Debbie, Jim and Wilbur were gracious hosts. Our room was well stocked. Enjoyed the yogurt, granola, coffee and fruit provided. We had everything we needed for our stay from beach chairs to coolers to beach towels. There were bikes and snorkel equipment available for use. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our meals on the lanai with the great view. The location was very convenient to the beach and anywhere else we cared to go. The surf lulled us to sleep at night. We were a short walk to the beach where we watched whales turtles, dophins and monk seals. Debbie and Jim were also very accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay again in the future. Mahalo Debbie and Jim! Aloha"

  • Large apartment in great location!

"Luxury 2 bedroom timeshare condo with 2 bathrooms, 3 TV's, balcony with ocean view and full kitchen. Very attractive property with large swimming pool . Only downside was it was not on the beach (but 10 minute walk to beautiful white sand beach), and ocean view was partly blocked by construction barriers. Suzanne was very helpful answering all our questions and making sure they were prepared for our arrival. I would recommend renting a car, there is only the beach and Hyatt resort within walking distance. One suggestion, the resort offers discounts on tours or activities if you attend a 2 hour time share presentation. Although we got $125 off our luau tickets, the presentation used a lot of pressure tactics and it felt quite uncomfortable when we turned down the offer. The presentation is optional though, so just be prepared if you choose to do it. Overall, a great property, excellent value for money and a beautiful island! Highly recommend."

  • Absolutely wonderful accommodations. Ample space, all amenities needed. Exquisite landscape

"This house sits in a botanical crater. The flowers, fruit trees, exotic birds that visit the lanai and spacious outdoor dinning is stellar. In addition there is a tennis court, club house and barbecue. The house is complete with beautiful high vaulted ceilings. Page fans that keep it cool and well ventilated. The kitchen is super efficient. There is every appliance, cooking utensils and even two sets of China to use. Nothing was excluded. There is a tremendous amount of thought that was put into every detail in keeping this home well stocked for whatever a family or couple might need. The actual location is another plus close to the beach and endless stores and all of the beauty Poipu has to offer. We had a truly restful time. Mahalo"

  • Great Place! Look forward to coming back if we make it back to Kauai

"We stayed at this rental for total of 4 days. Overall the experience was great. The location is really good. It's about a 5 minute drive to Poipu Beach and a 10 minute walk to Shipwreck Beach (on nice walking path) The property has a lot of beach equipment for guests to use (we donated a baby's life vest which we couldn't fit in our luggage) The property was in good condition. There were a few minor repairs that were needed but not anything that would make the experience bad. The host left a booklet on the kitchen area that has all the information about the property (internet, trash) and a lot of recommendations about the area that should be read. We didn't feel the traffic noise was too bad as some of the reviews we read really talked about it. The other thing in review was the A/C as some people really didn't like being able to turn it on during the daytime. We went during January and temperature was always 80's. In the daytime, you can open the windows and doors (there is mesh screen) and let the ocean breeze cool the rooms. Plus there are fans in each room to turn on if it really feels unbearable. We ran into the next door people and asked about this. They said that most people don't have A/C installed in their houses, and #1 reason was that electricity was really expensive. So do the host and nature a favor and try not to use the A/C."
