  • Beautiful Home, Prime Location, Everything You Need to Explore Kauai

"We just came back from a week-long stay at beautiful Hale Poipu. My husband and I and his parents shared this wonderful home together and had a truly memorable vacation. It is lovely with two gorgeous bedrooms with private bathrooms - and a lovely common living room and kitchen, plus beautiful deck. There is an additional studio with bedroom on the ground level. We cooked in the kitchen and used the grill on the deck. All appliances are top of the line making staying in and enjoying the home so enjoyable. The home is located in a pretty area with paths along the coastline with Poipu Beach just a short walk away where sea turtles and hawaiin monk seals made daily appearances. Two beautiful shopping centers and lots of great restaurants are within a mile or two from the home. The beds were super comfortable and we slept with the sliding doors open and could hear the ocean, feel the beautiful breeze and were woken up by the birds. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the deck, enjoying the sunrise. Patty has the house so well-organized and beautifully decorated and it is chock full of everything you need, including shampoo and bath gel, plus beautiful bathrobes. We enjoyed using the beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards on our day trip to the Northern Coast, as well as when visiting a few remote beaches. We can't say enough and highly recommend Patty's home."

  • Prince Kuhio condo, vacation rental, Kauai.

"This is one of the better condos at Prince Kuhio. The condo comes with everything a visitor to Kauai could want. Clean, wonderful king bed, lots gizmos, washer dryer, two TVs and lots of Aloha. We have been coming to the PK condos for 20 years and have stayed at a number of different condos, this is one of the best!"

  • Great location, awesome views and complete privacy.

"What a beautiful location. The crashing waves and surfing turtles are right below your balcony. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need from a complete kitchen (with lots of food actually - I would check and see what is in the cupboards before going shopping next time!) to snorkel gear, beach umbrellas, chairs and many boogie boards. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The fans and ocean breeze made it comfortable even when it was hot outside in the sun. We used the pool one evening too - it was clean and the temp was perfect to cool off before dinner. Our girls loved that it had a true "deep end". The location is in perfect proximity to Poipu Beach and Brennecke's - we walked over there a couple of times instead of driving the 1/2 mile. It is also just minutes from Shipwrecks Beach and Koloa where we went every day to the fish market for fresh Poke. We really enjoyed how low key all of these beaches were. One day we drove to Hanalei and while it was beautiful it was insane with people and traffic rushing to the North Shore for the big waves. It made us glad we decided to stay in Poipu and could just visit the other areas. Everything was close enough that even a day trip to Hanalei and Waimea Canyon allowed us to still hit the beach when we got back in the afternoon."

  • Can't beat the price for Kauai

"This was a great condo for a large multi generational group. It had some benefits and it had just a couple opportunities. The place felt like home. It was decorated nice, had nice amenities and was in a great location. Pros: Great layout for large family - had plenty of space to move, layout and still feel like we had room. Beach supplies - large amount of supplied towels, 4 - 5 body boards, 3-4 chairs, umbrellas and bamboo mats. Directions - lots of good directions everywhere, good follow up by Jim and juliana, good use of email, handwritten letters when you arrive. Rooms - Great layouts with rooms with the multi twin beds for those with small kids. Good beds, lots of storage. Showers - we would come back from the beach and EVERYONEwould take showers and we would all have hot water. We took about 9 showers and maintained hot water. Icemaker - love this in a fridge. Facility - quiet facility on second level and multiple pools to swim in. The location is nice for the price. Though not on the beach, it is a 10 minute walk east or west to Shipwreck Beach or to Poipu Beach. A/C - was nice after runs and long days on the beach. Opportunities Shower - the pipes on many of the showers would shake very badly if you didn't turn the water hot enough. Taking a cold shower was not an option because of the shaking of the pipes. Kitchen stock - While other vrbo's I've been in have been stocked with a little more then this one, this one did not have some simple items like sugar, spray oil, sweeteners, a tablespoon, ziplock bags. This isn't a big deal until you need those small items and don't have them. Pots and Pans - We ate breakfast there every day and made many meals and I will say that none of the skillets are nonstick, even with butter. I missed lots more beneifits I'm sure. The location was great on Poipu, the safety of the location was good, the beauty of the location is great. I would recommend this condo for big groups. It was perfect for our week."
