  • Amazingly tranquil condo stocked with everything you need!

"My wife and myself had the pleasure of renting this fantastic condo for a week while we were in Kauai. All I can say is we were deeply impressed by the attention to detail and the amount of thought put into this second home. Aside from groceries and your own basic toiletries you won't need anything to enjoy the Poipu beach life. There are beach towels, chairs, soft side coolers, boogie boards, a surf board and umbrellas for the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with tons of cookware and a great selection of spices, condiments, and appliances for cooking whenever and nearly whatever you like. Each time we wondered whether or not something was available at the condo we found it, we literally needed nothing, it was great! The grounds of Waikomo Stream Villas are very neat quiet and well kept, the patio of this unit looks out over the trees and grass below it is very secluded and quiet to sit out on and enjoy some great Kauai coffee, or romantic drink over dinner. If you or the kids need to wind down or relax on a night in there is a selection of movies and a broad cable channel selection to chose from. This condo made our stay seem like we had our own second home just a few blocks from the beaches and great food of Kauai. We absolutely recommend this rental the owners were a treat to work with and you will absolutely love your stay in there fantastic little piece of paradise. Trevor & Alicia"

"Whether you're looking to relax or have a base camp for tropical adventures, #5 hits the mark. Our stay was a dream. This was actually our second time booking with the owner, the first time was our honeymoon - we had such an amazing time we had to come back. We did a bit of everything - from surfing and hiking to relaxing on the beach and having a drink. The unit is secluded from the rest of the condos, and is feet from the beach - the sound of surf at night lulls you to sleep. Besides the amazing location, details such as a high quality mattress (a must on our vacations) and a gourmet kitchen make it feel like a second home. The owner shared great tips both times that made us feel like locals, from the farmers market to great local spots to eat/hang out."

  • Awesome Kauai vacation home!

"We had an amazing vacation at Hale Malanai. We spent a week there and it was the perfect house for our little family. Excellent location, beautiful home, right across the street from Baby Beach, in a lovely neighborhood on Hoona Road. It was our first trip to Kauai and we had our 18-month old son with us. The house had everything we needed. A nice open floor plan, full kitchen with every gadget & utensil, washer/dryer, BBQ grill on the deck, a variety of beach toys and chairs, and the private outdoor shower to rinse off sand after returning from the beach. Baby Beach was great for our little toddler. There is a nice little tidepool area where the large rocks break the waves from reaching the shore. Our son loved to play in that calm shallow area. Not to mention, the sunsets on Baby Beach were spectacular every night. We usually had the beach to ourselves in the mornings, before a few more families would show up and stay through mid-afternoon. We had a great time and would definitely return again someday!"

  • Execellent With One Seasonal Caution

"Excellent location and unit. The corner spot on the 3rd floor provides super waterfront views in two directions and you can spot sea turtles right off the rocks. The unit is maintained pretty well and all critical things worked well, such as kitchen and bathroom facilities. The place is comfortable and the wifi worked well. Location is good next to a small beach that is good for snorkeling or surfing and it's a short drive to a supermarket. The only caution would be the heat in summer. The units in this development have no air conditioning and it got sticky when we were there. We slept fine and it was never terrible, but a little warm day and night. Plenty of fans in the unit and you need those, even with the windows on both sides. The breezes from the trade winds help too. On the plus side, sleeping with the windows open provides the great and relaxing sound of crashing surf to help lull you to sleep!"
