"Whether you're looking to relax or have a base camp for tropical adventures, #5 hits the mark. Our stay was a dream. This was actually our second time booking with the owner, the first time was our honeymoon - we had such an amazing time we had to come back. We did a bit of everything - from surfing and hiking to relaxing on the beach and having a drink. The unit is secluded from the rest of the condos, and is feet from the beach - the sound of surf at night lulls you to sleep. Besides the amazing location, details such as a high quality mattress (a must on our vacations) and a gourmet kitchen make it feel like a second home. The owner shared great tips both times that made us feel like locals, from the farmers market to great local spots to eat/hang out."

  • Family friendly

"This is a comfortable place to stay with all of the amenities of home. We enjoyed the big kitchen to prepare most of our meals while staying on the island and the bedrooms were great. The condo is very clean and cozy with lots of beach supplies to borrow. The pool has barbeques that were great to use while the kids were swimming and it's a short walk to Poipu beach where we went daily to see the sleeping sea life on the shore. Jim and Juliana were very helpful with all the questions I emailed. We would definitely rent here again!"

  • Tranquil cottage in the heart of Poipu

"Thank you, Mr. Wisda, for making your sweet and comfortable cottage available to rent. My daughters and son-in-law and I spent a most restful week in your lovely house. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances (although a bit short on a variety of dishes). The best part of Ahe Lani is NO ROOSTERS!! If you've ever been to Kauai and rented a place, you know that the critters will wake you up before dawn. Fortunately, this cottage is in a residential neighborhood that seems to have banished the pests. I slept like a log, lulled to sleep by the faint sound of the ocean and the overhead fan. The garden was beautiful; just wish I had had the time to enjoy it, but we were so busy! This cottage is a real find..just 5 minutes driving from the main Poipu Beach, and a quick 5 minute walk to the Kukui'ula Shopping center. I look forward to a return visit very soon."

  • Stay at this condo! (Just not when I go back! :) )

"We LOVED our stay at this property in Poipu. The condo is well-kept and well-appointed: all the things you need to make your stay comfortable are here! If you're set to go to south side of Kauai, this is the place. It's quiet, peaceful, and comfy. The location is amazing. It's walkable to the beach and a longer walk or short drive to restaurants and shopping. We saw at least 20 turtles and 3 Hawaiian monk seals right there on our walks. We loved Anuenue Cafe for breakfast just down the street. There's a Longs Drugstore nearby, too. And Lappert's ice cream, if that's important to you. We were active on the island (walking, hiking, kayaking, surfing) and this was the perfect place for us. We were able to sleep well, enjoy coffee on the lanai, pack our lunches, and get going for the day. When we got back at the end of the day, it was like coming home and relaxing. I highly recommend this property- we'll be back!"
