  • All the comforts of home

"This was our first trip to Kauai and were very impressed with this condo. The pictures and description's of the unit were very accurate and actually don't show how spacious and nice the unit is in person. Additionally, we found the condo to be well equipped with everything that we needed-and then some- to have a great vacation. The property and grounds are well maintained and everyone from the staff working the grounds to the folks that are lucky enough to live there full time, were welcoming and helpful. This condo is in a great location that allows for easy access to all sides of the island all while being able to walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. We spent our mornings snorkeling at the beach across the street, explored the island during the day and circled back to cook dinner at the condo, finishing out the night watching the sunset at the beach across the street. The owner was very easy to work with, provided detailed instructions and returned our deposit shortly after we returned home. I would recommend this condo/owner to anyone that is going to Kauai and looking for reasonably priced accommodations that offer all of the comforts of home. We had such a great time that we are already planning our trip for next year and will definitely be scheduling it around the availability of this condo."

  • Great Value compared to a hotel

"Best view ever, if you want to literally be across the street from theo beach, this is the home to rent. We normally have stayed at the big hotel Down the street and have paid a lot per room. This place has a way better view, you also have 2 good size bedrooms and bathrooms. A great kitchen with everything in it. They have thought of everything for providing guest, such as great tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, kids toys etc. the yard is huge, and is fenced which would be good for families. We loved the hot tub on the deck. It also had a huge BBQ. We walked to several restauraunts that were close by. It was wonderful being across from poipu beach. Nice to have your washer /dryer. The only thing that we would of liked to of seen in our opinion was " air conditioning". We were there on a week that there were little trade winds and temps in the high 80s and the house was uncomfortablly hot day and night.maybe on a typical kaui windy day, it would be ok. We also didn't find the beds to be that comfortable ( it's a firm mattress). In the non master bedroom, the twin or full size bed was kind of short for my dad that is 5'10 unless his head was touching the baseboard. The house was very clean, and we loved the bowl of treats the owners give to guest. Wifi worked well enough, it slowed a bit at night in back bedroom, but nothing major. Cable tv was good. We enjoyed the deck each day, (wish there had been a ceiling fan on it,and a recliner chair), but the table and chairs that are on it were comfy. We enjoyed seeing the large toads in the yard each night. The people and cars in front of the house were quiet despite it being on a residential street. We hope to back the next time we go to kaui!"

  • Relaxing, beautiful ocean view condo!

"My husband and I loved our time in the condo from the moment we walked in. You immediately feel the ocean breeze and see the waves the moment you walk in. Within our first few minutes we saw a sea turtle coming up for a breath and found many more swimming over the next few days, and we got a better look through the great binoculars in the condo. The condo was very comfortably furnished and spotless. Jane was a pleasure to work with and all payments and communication were handled very smoothly (we went directly through her). She was flexible about letting us check in a little early so we could relax for a while after our travels. The snorkeling equipment came in very handy since we went to the sandy beach around the corner nearly every day. Having a cipher lock on the door meant we did not need to carry keys either! I was a bit scared to go in on the rocky beach right ourside although there were a few snorkelers who did go there so I recommend that if you can brave it - we saw one of them hanging out with four sea turtles at once! The condo complex is in a very convenient location for visiting most places on Kauai although a car is necessary, and one parking spot is included with the condo. There are loads of places to eat within 5 minutes driving (we appreciated Jane's suggestion about the bar menu at Keoki's Paradise), a bunch of them just a half mile away with a farmer's market on Wednesday. It is also very close to Spouting Horn park. I highly recommend staying here for your Kauai vacation!"

  • Perfect in every way!

"We truly enjoyed our stay. This was our first visit to Kauai. After looking at hundreds of places to stay, we ended up choosing the very first one we looked at! Glad we did! The condo was exactly as they described. My husband was disappointed we didn't have a front unit, but soon changed his mind. The morning sun was nice, then you got the afternoon breezes. The furniture was very comfortable. We've rented other places with rattan couches that were so uncomfortable. That was one main thing we looked for in rentals, besides ocean front. We both enjoyed a nap listening to the waves. Kitchen was fully stocked with items to cook with. King size bed was soft and comfortable. Pillows were a little flat for my liking, but I survived. LOL! We used the ice chest several times on our outings. Bathroom has tons of open storage space, big clean tiled shower. We liked kicking back in the zero gravity chairs on the lani watching the waves and honu. The snorkeling was pretty good here. Although surf surges were rough due to incoming tropical storms, we saw more variety of fish here than other places. We took several morning and evening walks when not exploring the rest of the island. Spouting Horn is even close enough to walk to, did that our first day. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat! Mahalo for sharing your condo."
