"This was our second time staying at Kiahuna Plantation and the first time in this particular condo. We are most definitely going to check its availability for our next Kauai trip. The unit has been updated and all the little lovely decor touches made us feel like we were at home, not at a soulless resort condo. The kitchen has everything you can possibly need, including quality sharp knives (a huge pet peev of mine). The foldout couch was comfortable and perfect for our 9 and 11 year olds. The unit is a 3 minute walk from one of the best beaches in Poipu. The closet in the living room had various beach accessories, including toys, boogie boards, chairs, an umbrella, etc. Thank you for sharing your HI property with us, we had a fantastic time!"

"We loved the space in this condo! It looks just like the pictures with a roomy master, bathroom, kitchen, dining, and living room. The space was perfect for our family of four with the kids on the two living room couch-beds. The king bed was wonderfully comfy. The condo was fresh and clean with plenty of linens. It was really easy to enter with the key holder and plenty of parking under the many structures. They also have beach stuff right there to use--snorkel/masks, boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, umbrella. There are two pools--one with an amazing ocean view, and the other with a hot tub over by the tennis courts. Grill out front with communal picnic table. Back patio with two chaise lounges and a nice table set. Location is great with pools just a minute's walk and the beaches a few minutes down the landscaped path. Location is also great to see the whole island--breaches, Waimea Canyon and Kauai Coffee Estate to the west and everything else to the east and northeast. Thanks to FITS for handling the reservation and to Terrie for helping out with some questions we had while there. Aloha!"

"My family of 5, all adults, rented this condo for 8 nights. The entry was on the 2nd floor but unless stairs are an obstacle for you, dont let that deter you. It was absolutely perfect! Rooms were clean and decor lovely. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. A wonderful perk was having starter supplies of laundry detergent, kitchen and bathroom soap, and essential toiletries. Depending on your length of stay, number of guests, and how often you cook your own meals, the supply may be adequate for you. Water toys were provided, including boogie boards! Beach towels were also provided. The view of the mountains from the front lanai was very nice. The paths throughout the grounds were beautiful. It was a wonderful 10 minute walk on these paths to Poipu beach, where we caught the sunrise and sunset standing in the same spot! Beach was beautiful for swimming and snorkeling. We also tried boogie boarding, which was a lot of fun. Jim and Juliana were so easy to work with and their response time getting back to us was very timely. They emailed us a list of things to do, including the links, which was very nice. All of us agree that if and/or when we return to Kauai, we will definitely stay here again! It was home away from home!"

  • Living the good life!

"This mansion of a house was gorgeous. We arrived to a very clean house with all the necessities for beach life and home life provided. The rooms/beds were comfortable and the many bathrooms were spacious and modern. Especially, the one on the first floor which was massive. The ocean was filled with sea life and perfect for snorkeling and viewing turtles and seals. It could be accessed via walking or a short drive. I definitely would recommend a car if you want to see other parts of the island or to access the many shops and grocery stores. The pool was large and well kept but definitely a concern with small children as it is not enclosed. The owners were responsive to inquires and responded quickly. The house was filled with private spots such as verandas and had games for all ages. If we are to return to Kauai again with a large group, we would definitely return to this magnificent retreat."
