  • Beautiful Kiahuna Plantation and Condo, April 15 - 23/16

"We had a fantastic time in Kauai! We loved the Kiahuna Plantation and the condo, and felt they were the best place to stay on the south shore. We went snorkeling at Poipu Beach in the morning (a monk seal or two were always there), then did some sightseeing in the afternoon. Some of our favorite things were seeing Waimea Canyon, hiking along the cliffs beginning at Shipwreck Beach, and taking a catamaran sunset trip to Na Pali. We used Blue Dolphin and the crew was fantastic! We got lucky on that trip and saw a mother whale and her calf less than 50 feet from the boat! It was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. The next time we come back to Kauai, we definitely will stay here again! We loved it as it was in the perfect location for us to enjoy the sights and beauty of the island. Thank you for making our stay so special!"

  • We must return to Condo #723

"We had an amazing stay at this condo. The essentials were already there at check-in so we didn't have to go to the store. It was clean and beautiful. We loved having two balconies. We used both of them depending on the time of day. Customer service gets a 5 star also."

  • Good Condo

"This condo was as advertised. Beautiful grounds, and nice patio with a view. This condo is in close proximity to the Hyatt, and Shipwrecks Beach. Inside, the Condo was equipped with the essentials for cooking, (although we chose to eat out). This is the 4th condo I have stayed at in Poipu, and the condo itself was on par with each one. I would rate the Poiup Sands grounds first overall. The grounds are spacious , clean and private. The pool area is also clean and private. Our only complaint was the bed and the shower head in the bathroom. The mattress is beyond its life expectancy and should have been replaced years ago. My wife is 115 pounds and still would sink down into the mattress. We both woke up with sore backs each day. We are both in excellent shape and we our not complainers but a future renter should be aware of this. The shower head in the bathroom has no power so if you have a full head of hair (as my wife does) it doesn't get the soap out. In spite of these 2 negatives I still give this condo 4 stars."

  • Relaxing

"We really enjoyed the 6 night stay. Everything was as per the photos, with the living areas and rooms being larger than expected! The views from the rooms are relaxing - overlooking the massive monkey pod tree and lush tropical gardens with an abundance of friendly birds. The downstairs bedrooms are very private as any nearby paths are screened by the gardens or are lower in hight. There are restaurants and a small store across the road, so everything is easily accessible. The manicured lawns are lovely and extend right down to the beach. Apart from the 'resort beach', there are 2 nearby more public beaches that are very popular and provide different swimming / surfing options. A well equipped kitchen and new appliances were great to use. The check in and out was easy and the staff are all very friendly. We'd highly recommend this resort and well maintained unit."
