  • A home away from home!

"Spacious and lovely little house with all the amenities. Was clean and tidy on arrival and easy to get ready for our departure. The best baby beach and, frankly, the best free diving on the island are only 2 minutes walk down the road. Would base any Kauai vacation from here without a second's thought."

  • We had a great time at Mary's property. It is recently updated. clean and perfect for a our family.

"Mary's unit 167 was perfect for our family of 4. The interior is very clean, with wood floors and a great modern kitchen. The King size bed was very comfortable as was the pull out. What we really loved about the condo was the location. Right out front of the porch there is a small area of grass which is practically private. Our kids played out there while constantly ! Beyond that there is a view of the ocean, the unit really is in a great location. The beach is about a 2 minuet walk and walking the grounds of the plantation is very enjoyable . The surprise amenity was the pool across the street. It has a sand lagoon for the tiny kids, a very fun waterside as well as a bar and snack shack. We can't wait to return to unit 167 ! • Great location, awesome views and complete privacy.

"What a beautiful location. The crashing waves and surfing turtles are right below your balcony. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need from a complete kitchen (with lots of food actually - I would check and see what is in the cupboards before going shopping next time!) to snorkel gear, beach umbrellas, chairs and many boogie boards. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The fans and ocean breeze made it comfortable even when it was hot outside in the sun. We used the pool one evening too - it was clean and the temp was perfect to cool off before dinner. Our girls loved that it had a true "deep end". The location is in perfect proximity to Poipu Beach and Brennecke's - we walked over there a couple of times instead of driving the 1/2 mile. It is also just minutes from Shipwrecks Beach and Koloa where we went every day to the fish market for fresh Poke. We really enjoyed how low key all of these beaches were. One day we drove to Hanalei and while it was beautiful it was insane with people and traffic rushing to the North Shore for the big waves. It made us glad we decided to stay in Poipu and could just visit the other areas. Everything was close enough that even a day trip to Hanalei and Waimea Canyon allowed us to still hit the beach when we got back in the afternoon."
