  • Great Stay at Hideaway Cove

"My husband stayed in the Dolphin suite at Hideaway Cove for business. The unit was clean and comfortable. Herb is very responsive and helpful. Hideaway Cove was the perfect location for my husband to stay as he was doing work at a local restaurant that was only 3 minutes away in Poipu Beach. Would definitely recommend and stay here again."

  • Tropical Experience of A Lifetime!!!

"Where to begin! The location of the condo was ideally situated both in the complex and on the island! We reveled in the ocean sites, sounds, and smells every day from the lovely patio. Morning coffee at the oceans edge was just a short few steps from our beautiful and oh so comfortable home away from home! The owners were wonderful to work with and made our stay warm and welcoming as were all the staff....super friendly and very knowledgeable ready to help at every turn! The unit is beautifully appointed with a traditional yet modern island feel and was equipped with absolutely everything imaginable and then some! Thank you thank you. We were within walking distance to so many wonderful shops, restaurants and watering holes that you will find yourself visiting more than once per stay ;o) The pool area was everything you could want including a little beach, waterfalls, and fun filled bar/restaurant. Can't say enough how magical our trip was for these accommodations and the experience or it all!!! How can we work now? We''ll rush to come back over and over again and thank you to all!!!!!! Denice and Paul with love and fondness!"

  • Our winter home

"We have been privileged to experience two extended winter vacations at Hale O Ani and are returning again in 2017. That is probably, in and of itself, testimony to how wonderful this property is. But to restate the highlights and some additional insights I would like to share the following, much of which is supported by other reviewers of this outstanding property. First is "quality". Everything, in Hale O Ani is of the highest quality. The dishes, glassware, appliances, bedding, furniture, hardwood floors. The owners Faye and Bob are delightful, fun and responsive to needs and wants and willing to share their insights into interesting side trips. I could go on, but want to mention a few things that have proved important to us; particularly the surrounding area. When you leave Route 50 and drive up the road to the property it feels like entering Jurassic Park! The vegetation is so lush and stunning that in some places it is breathtaking. This sets the stage for a feeling of wonder and tranquility. When approaching the house from the driveway we’ve encountered Sharma Thrush singing their sweet and unusual song along with all sorts of other interesting birds. We have been fortunate enough to pick bananas off the trees in the driveway and stay long enough to eat them! The view of the palm tree from one of the bedrooms is like a live painting and the bougainvillea cascading over the hot tub in full bloom is outstanding. As a matter of fact it is the last picture I took before we left at the end of March. All in all Hale O’ Ani is a fabulous retreat, getaway, hideaway, or whatever one chooses to call it. All we know is that it is soothing to us, both inside the property and outside where it is positioned up in the hills far enough away from the hustle (but not too far) to feel like a sanctuary. We are grateful to be able to leave Upstate NY for most of the winter and now call Hale O’Ani, our winter home. Not visitors, not tourists. We come home in the winter…."
