  • excellent condo in perfect location

"Marilyn's place was exactly what we were looking for during our week in Poipu. The condo is very clean, we loved spending time on the deck looking at the pool and ocean, and having the doors open at night with the winds blowing through was awesome. The location was truly spectacular with an easy walk to Shipwrecks and a bit longer, but just as easy, walk to Brennecke's for sunsets and restaurant/bar options. Best part was how easy Marilyn was to work with. Thanks so much! All in all a great place."

  • Getaway in Paradise

"Sansei Hale is charming and roomy, sitting unnassumingly in a low key residential area. Upon arrival, my husband and I were immediately taken with the vlocanic rocks on the exterior of the house and around the yard. Seemed very characteristic of a lot of local Hawaiian homes, and we were thrilled to be staying in home carrying such an authentic feeling. The interior is expansive, easily acommodating 6 adults with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen worked out elegantly for communal cooking, with a large granite island and generous array of prep utensils and dishes lending themselves to easy, effortless cooking (and fun!). The deck has a big dining table, where dinners, lunches, and breakfasts were enjoyed as we listened to the soothing murmur of the nearby stream and wildlife. The location worked out beautifully - right in the middle of Poipu yet unencumbered by overtly touristly resorts. Easy access to nearby Baby Beach (walking distance) and a surprisingly atmospheric and convenient shopping center with amentities and an array of fabulous restaurants (also walking distance). I usually hiked nearby trails (Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail is a must) in the mornings while my husband surfed Left Lefts. Afternoons were occupied with scenic drives to Kauai's many sights."

  • Kiahuna Plantation on Kauai is a little paradise

"We, a family of two adults (56/51) and two children (16/13) from Germany, stayed for 10 days in the condo of Volker and Gina Bauerle. Already from the booking procedure on and until we left we were supported in a very friendly manner by Volker and Gina. They gave us hints and tipps whenever we needed help (this communication was maybe a little bit empowered by the fact that Volker and Gina derive from Germany - many years ago). Everything in the condo was very clean, working properly and as expected. For four persons there is plenty of space: In the upper floor a big living room with attached kitchen and on the other side towards the plantation a big lanai on which we had our meals. In the ground floor you have another two rooms, individual bathrooms for each room and a terrace. The plantation is very beautiful, green and very nicely cultivated. Mango trees are located in front of the condo. Sometimes mangos drop of the tree and we added them to our menue ;-) Several barbecue grills are located in the plantation and kept ready for operation by the service team. The beach is beautiful and we recommend to make use of the facilities of the Athletic Club. We played a lot of tennis and made use of the fitness studio. You get bath towels at the beach and in the Club. Across the street there is a Shopping Center and an nice Restaurant (Keoki´s Paradise). We were a little bit surprised by the food prices in Hawai´i. You cannot expect supermarket prices like you are used to. But you get very delicious fruits (papayas, avocados, pinapples, mangos...) for fair prices (much better then in the supermarket) on the farmer market in Koloa every Monday from 10.00-12.00 am. We stayed 10 days on Big Island, 10 days on Kauai and another 7 days on O´ahu. Kauai was certainly the most beautiful Island. Of course it depends on what you are looking for. If you are interested in nature, tropical forest, hiking through the rain forest, Kanu trips ... we very strongly recommend to include Kauai into your Hawai´i trip. And you can rely on the help of the owners of this condo, Volker and Gina. They do everything they can for you."

  • We had the best time in Poipu Crater #20

"We had an awesome "first time" visit to the island of Kauai --- and it started with staying in Poipu Crater #20. There were 4 adults and this condo was spacious enough for all of us. Very clean, personable with artwork from the island --we loved all the pineapple decor! Equipped with full kitchen and washer and dryer--- also a very quiet location so we could relax on the linai after a day full of excursions and siteseeing. Swimming pool was a nice treat too! Definitely will return and we highly recommend this condo!"
