  • Paradise with all the finest amenities!

"Ocean front property with phenomenal views of surfers and sunsets all within view of the dining/living room. Spacious living accommodations throughout the condo. Step out of the sliding glass doors for immediate access to large manicured lawns and the BEACH directly from this main floor unit. You are provided with exceptionally comfortable beds to sleep in and large "step-in" marble showers to rinse off the sand from a day of beach combing, snorkeling, sunbathing, turtle watching... as well as searching for the monk seal's basking in the sun. Wild parrots and island birds will also delight you. The warmest weather and the "must see" attractions for Kauai makes Poipu the finest location on the island. Sunshine, dining, trades winds, wildlife and beauty will fill your soul with amazement right outside your doors of this beautiful condo. The ocean colors are indescribable! Thursday evening we were delighted to discover a farmer's market within the local shopping center just blocks away with live entertainment, local artists, vendors, produce and beautiful island flowers. Did I mention the trade winds? Ahh, so warm and soothing. A quiet and peaceful place to rediscover yourself. A life time experience and a must see. Unit 118."

  • Wonderful!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Patrice and Terry's beautiful condo in sunny Poipu! We enjoyed many meals on the lanai and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We look forward to returning!"

  • Super!

"My wife and I were celebrating our 35th anniversary and wanted to find a place where we and our two daughters and their partners could stay on the south side of Kauai. Shipwreck's Beach Cottage was just perfect for us. Plenty of space for all of us. A gorgeous house in a perfect location with views of the ocean. Handsomely furnished with all the amenities you need. Within easy driving distance of beaches, restaurants and shopping, yet the plus of staying in a neighborhood of private homes. Would return in a heartbeat!"

  • Great Value compared to a hotel

"Best view ever, if you want to literally be across the street from theo beach, this is the home to rent. We normally have stayed at the big hotel Down the street and have paid a lot per room. This place has a way better view, you also have 2 good size bedrooms and bathrooms. A great kitchen with everything in it. They have thought of everything for providing guest, such as great tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, kids toys etc. the yard is huge, and is fenced which would be good for families. We loved the hot tub on the deck. It also had a huge BBQ. We walked to several restauraunts that were close by. It was wonderful being across from poipu beach. Nice to have your washer /dryer. The only thing that we would of liked to of seen in our opinion was " air conditioning". We were there on a week that there were little trade winds and temps in the high 80s and the house was uncomfortablly hot day and night.maybe on a typical kaui windy day, it would be ok. We also didn't find the beds to be that comfortable ( it's a firm mattress). In the non master bedroom, the twin or full size bed was kind of short for my dad that is 5'10 unless his head was touching the baseboard. The house was very clean, and we loved the bowl of treats the owners give to guest. Wifi worked well enough, it slowed a bit at night in back bedroom, but nothing major. Cable tv was good. We enjoyed the deck each day, (wish there had been a ceiling fan on it,and a recliner chair), but the table and chairs that are on it were comfy. We enjoyed seeing the large toads in the yard each night. The people and cars in front of the house were quiet despite it being on a residential street. We hope to back the next time we go to kaui!"
