  • Clean, Comfortable and Conveniently Located

"Our family really enjoyed our stay at this Castle managed Kiahuna Plantation condo unit. It was our first visit to the Poipu area, and we could not have asked for a better location to stay. The complex is near Poipu Beach, Old Koloa Town, Allerton Gardens and a few grocery stories and small shopping malls. We had access to the beach and a pool both of which were a short walk from the condo unit. The condo itself was clean, homey and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans for extended stays. There are communal gas BBQ grills a few steps from the condo. The Plantation Gardens restaurant is on the property, and we walked over and enjoyed a delicious dinner there on one of our evenings. There were also several other nice restaurants within a short driving distance. A handful of ice cream and shaved ice places were also nearby that opened late. We will miss waking to the sound of roosters in the morning!"

  • Excellent place to stay

"This property is in an excellent location only a couple of minutes drive to shops, restaurants and beaches. The place is very well presented, very large and excellent balcony looking towards the pool. The different areas of the condo (main bedroom upstairs with en-suite) and another bathroom downstairs. Kitchen is well equipped. A great place to come back home after travelling. Would definitely recommend this place."

  • Awesome

"Awesome place to stay. Condo was better than we had hoped. Short walk to the beach. Nice pool, gas grill, tennis courts. Stayed 8 days, wish we could have stayed all winter! We definitely will be going back. Would have to say it is the best place we ever have vacationed! Mike was great to work with!"

  • Great Place! Look forward to coming back if we make it back to Kauai

"We stayed at this rental for total of 4 days. Overall the experience was great. The location is really good. It's about a 5 minute drive to Poipu Beach and a 10 minute walk to Shipwreck Beach (on nice walking path) The property has a lot of beach equipment for guests to use (we donated a baby's life vest which we couldn't fit in our luggage) The property was in good condition. There were a few minor repairs that were needed but not anything that would make the experience bad. The host left a booklet on the kitchen area that has all the information about the property (internet, trash) and a lot of recommendations about the area that should be read. We didn't feel the traffic noise was too bad as some of the reviews we read really talked about it. The other thing in review was the A/C as some people really didn't like being able to turn it on during the daytime. We went during January and temperature was always 80's. In the daytime, you can open the windows and doors (there is mesh screen) and let the ocean breeze cool the rooms. Plus there are fans in each room to turn on if it really feels unbearable. We ran into the next door people and asked about this. They said that most people don't have A/C installed in their houses, and #1 reason was that electricity was really expensive. So do the host and nature a favor and try not to use the A/C."
