It has everything you will need to enjoy this beautiful island!
"Trust me, it looks better than those photos! My family already decided to return every year to enjoy this beautiful island and beautiful home!
AC was turned on for us right before we arrived. The condo was nice, clean, spacious (more spacious than we thought) and definitely much better equipped. Rice cooker, pots, pans, silverware, dishes, spices, condiments - they are all there. They even have a baby high chair. We enjoyed the patio so much that we literally had every single dinner there.
In their garage, there were boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles... much more than we could ask for. I had my first booggie board attempt :)
Air con is definitely a nice plus because it was quite hot during the time we visited (end of August). It was very pleasant to come back from a sweety hike and turn on the AC.
The location is very good! 13 minutes walk to Queen's bath (be aware of the mosquitos when you hike down to Queen's bath), a very short 10 minutes drive to Hanalei bay where you can find delicious restaurants and food trucks (we loved "Trucking Delicious" the best). A 4 minute drive to Foodland grocery store where you can buy your fresh produce for dinner.
The owner and the manager Kristen are both so nice. My mother had a medical emergence (kidney stone... so painful) the day before our trip and I had to reschedule. They were super nice and willing to rebook the condo for another time window with no extra charge.
We will come back."

"This was a perfect condo on the East side of the Island for me and my wife. We somehow didn't have the suite access instructions when we arrived. Despite the lady at the front desk being suspicious of us and generally no help at all we were able to email Mariel and she responded right away with the instructions. After that it was clear sailing. The condo has everything you will need. There is an ice maker in the freezer that was an awesome surprise. I think this is a complex with a lot of older people so it is exceptionally quiet. The other residents are very friendly. The lady in a condo near us, Nancy, saw us arrive and helped us locate the lock box and since we arrived early before the room was ready offered us to come in and change out of our winter-like clothes. Like I said, extremely friendly. The lanai overlooks the pool but you can see the ocean as well which was a nice surprise. Bring your binoculars as we saw whales almost every morning. The grounds are very well maintained. The wifi works great. There is a large flat screen tv to watch at night as well as a small tv in the bedroom. There is no air conditioning in the entire complex however there are ample ceiling and other fans in the condo to help keep you comfortable at night. This island has a VERY large population of chickens and roosters. YOU MUST BRING EARPLUGS FOR SLEEPING! It was perhaps the best thing we brought with us because we would not have slept without them. They are a bit comical at first but can get a bit annoying after a week or so. There is a Longs Drugs just up the road if you need to pick up some sun screen and other supplies when you arrive. There really isn't anything I can complain about with this condo. So if you are looking for a nice condo on the East side of the island than this place would be hard to beat. We really lucked out with this place. We recommend the kayaking tour on the Wailua River but bring shoes/sandals you can hike in and get wet. Also the hike up the Sleeping Giant is a must but keep going past the end of the trail sign for the best experience. We saw 7-8 year olds up there so it's not too extreme. Kealia Beach for bodyboarding and Lawa'i Beach for snorkling. Guaranteed to see turtles. Olympic Cafe in Kapa'a has great food with very large portions and an awesome atmosphere. Kauai Island Brewery and Grill rocks! We would come back here in a heartbeat if, or perhaps, when we return to paradise. Thank you Mariel.

"My fiancé and I had a super-sweet and memorable experience in the Banana Tree Cottage! The cottage itself was simple, elegant, and extremely comfortable with long-distance views of sunsets over the ocean. It was an 10-minute walk to the beach with easy access to all of Poipu - quite convenient but outside of the hub-bub of the hotel scene. This was perfect for us. We are both deeply grateful for our stay here."

"We very much enjoyed our stay here in this condominium at Plantation Hale. Why? The location of the condo was convenient being the first one at the top of the stairs. There were 2 nice decks to be able to sit out and enjoy the ocean view and soft breezes. It was very neat and clean, well maintained, creative decor, comfortable bed and furniture. The kitchen had beautiful, new appliances and it was well equipped with utensils and dinnerware. There were also extra beach towels as well as, of course, bath towels.
It is conveniently located in the center of Kapaa easily accessible to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops in the town.
The owner is easy to contact either by phone, text, or email. He is very friendly, courteous, and accommodating.
We would definitely recommend it to our relatives and friends, as well as stay there again. It was an enjoyable stay!
